Call of Duty MW3 Haunting Event Unveils Most Frightening Skin Ever

Call of Duty’s 2024 Haunting event introduces a terrifying zombified Operator named Alone to the MW3 Season 6 BlackCell Battle Pass.

With Halloween just around the corner, Activision has kicked off a new Haunting event for both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

The return of The Haunting aligns with the launch of Season 6, which brings a fresh Drive Thru Multiplayer map, a special Operator cameo of Michael Myers, and a variety of other frightful features.

Among the offerings in the Season 6 BlackCell Battle Pass is a unique three-headed mutated Operator skin.

This spine-chilling addition, called Alone, traps three Ghosts within an animated skin, making its movements as unsettling as its appearance.

Interestingly, players have noted that the three heads appear to resemble Ghosts from prior Modern Warfare editions. One looks like Ghost from Modern Warfare (2019), another resembles the character from MW2 (2022), and the last reflects the original Operator from 2009.

In addition to featuring the most frightening Call of Duty skin to date, BlackCell subscribers will also receive 1,100 COD Points, a Throat Rip Finishing Move, and blueprints for the STG44 Assault Rifle and Rival-9 SMG.

Players eager to dive into the action can purchase the Season 6 BlackCell Pass now for $29.99 USD.

The Haunting event in MW3 marks the latest in a series of horror-themed events for Call of Duty. The first of these events was launched for Black Ops Cold War in October 2021, featuring new modes and an Operator modeled after Scream’s Ghostface.

A separate Haunting event for Modern Warfare 2 occurred late in 2023, adding Operators like Ash Williams, Skeletor, and Lilith, the antagonist from Diablo 4.

However, even the Daughter of Hatred couldn’t compete with the sheer fear factor of Modern Warfare 3’s new Alone skin. It remains to be seen how Activision plans to escalate the scares for the upcoming Black Ops 6 Halloween celebration next year.
