On June 27th, the well-known streaming platform Netflix revealed their plans to produce a new original series titled “Can This Love Be Translated?”, along with the announcement of the cast lineup which includes Kim Seon-ho, Go Yoon-jung, Fukushi Sota, Lee Yi-dam, and Choi Woo-sung.
The drama will be created by a reliable team consisting of exceptional producers. The renowned Hong Sisters, known for their successful dramas such as “Alchemy of Souls,””Hotel Del Luna,””The Greatest Love,”and “Master’s Sun,”will be responsible for the script. The director of “Bloody Heart,”Yoo Young-eun, will also be taking on the role of director.
“Can This Love Be Translated?”is a romantic comedy filled with unexpected twists. It all starts when Joo Ho-jin, a talented interpreter fluent in multiple languages, is hired to work for the famous global superstar, Cha Moo-hee.
Kim Seon-ho portrays Joo Ho-jin, a talented interpreter fluent in English, Japanese, and Italian, in the drama. Go Youn-jung takes on the role of the charming and self-assured top actress, Cha Moo-hee.
Japanese actor Fukushi Sota, who gained recognition in Korea for his role in the film “My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday” , is set to make his debut appearance in a Korean drama. The drama, titled “Can This Love Be Translated?” , has also added Lee Yi-dam from “Daily Dose of Sunshine” and Choi Woo-sung from “Chief Detective 1958” to its cast.
