After Arturo was accused of being deceptive towards a client on Catfish, his former girlfriend revealed the harmful behavior he displayed during their relationship.

On May 24, a fan on Reddit shared a post in which they found a TikTok video of Arturo’s ex, Aly, claiming that he and Laura had fabricated their story in order to be featured on the show.
According to Aly, Arturo began communicating with Laura while they were still in a relationship and claimed that they first met at a concert. However, when speaking to Nev and Kamie on Catfish, he denied ever meeting Laura in person before.
Aly shared additional information about her perspective on the situation in a Reddit post from May 25, which she posted in response to the feedback she received on her TikTok video.

The author of the lengthy post, who identifies herself as Arturo’s ex, wants to warn others about his manipulative and dangerous behavior. She also mentions that Laura, who uses racial slurs, allows Arturo to make inappropriate comments about children.

After their relationship ended, Aly revealed Arturo’s mistreatment and accused him of abusive and stalking tendencies, claiming that he persisted in these behaviors even after she started dating someone else.
As stated by her, Arturo took extreme measures by providing screenshots of Aly’s tweets and Instagram stories, as she had blocked him. He purportedly went further by contacting her boyfriend’s workplace and falsely accusing him of selling banned substances on set.
Despite the fact that Arturo may have portrayed himself as a sweet guy on the MTV series Catfish, fans of the show, who are used to seeing clients lie, may not be shocked to discover that he is not who he claimed to be, particularly if the allegations against him are verified.
