A video of a camel rampaging through Cedar Point amusement park has become a sensation on TikTok, leaving viewers stunned.
Located in Sandusky, Ohio, Cedar Point is a major amusement park owned by one of the largest companies in the world. It attracts millions of visitors annually with its diverse range of rides and attractions.
One of the main highlights of the park is its expansive petting zoo. However, on June 12, 2024, two of the camels from the zoo managed to escape and were spotted prancing around the premises.
A video of the renegade camels quickly gained popularity on TikTok, leaving viewers in awe. In just one day, it has garnered almost 7 million views and received over 8,000 comments about the camels on the loose.
The footage captures a single camel leaping and pursuing individuals in the vicinity. The person filming exclaims, “This is not good, oh no, this is not good.”

One user responded, “He’s got the zoomies, awwww.”
Another person quipped, “I can’t figure out if he wants to play or if he wants to bite. I’m willing to take the risk.”
Justin Garcia, a visitor at the park, recounted to Storyful that he and his family were nearly run over by the wild animals.
“He added that we kept a distance and observed the aftermath of a potentially hazardous situation.”
As of writing, Cedar Point has not released a public statement, however, a spokesperson from the park assured 3News that no one was harmed during the incident involving loose camels.
“According to the officials, the camels were found taking an unexpected walk near The Barnyard, which is our designated ‘petting zoo’ on the Frontier Trail. However, they were promptly brought back and we are currently investigating how they managed to reach the midway.”
The recent occurrence at Cedar Point is simply the most recent TikTok video to gain widespread attention. On June 12, 2024, clips from the first ever “bring your own banana”event in NYC went viral, and users have been unable to get Carter Vail’s song “Dirt Man”out of their heads ever since.
