Chainsaw Man and Boruto Fans React to #1 Spot on MANGA Plus During Break Week

Despite a one-week break for Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga, it has managed to secure the top spot in Shueisha’s MANGA Plus rankings on their website. This comes as a surprise, as it surpassed popular titles like Jujutsu Kaisen, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, and One Piece manga. The rankings were updated by MANGA Plus.

Despite the impressive achievement of Chainsaw Man surpassing other weekly serialized manga in the rankings, Boruto fans were not pleased as the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga series is only released on a monthly basis, not weekly like the others.

According to the latest rankings on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus website, Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga has become the most popular choice among readers, with a staggering 391,000 views.

Similarly, Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen has amassed over 360,000 views, while Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto’s Boruto: Two Blue Vortex and Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece have both garnered over 340,000 and 315,000 views respectively.

Despite being on a one-week hiatus, the Chainsaw Man manga has still managed to rank higher than other popular weekly series such as Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, and My Hero Academia. This is a testament to its impressive popularity and success.

Despite being a monthly manga with its previous chapter released almost two weeks ago, the same logic should not be applied to Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Nonetheless, fans of Chainsaw Man have used this as an opportunity to discredit the V Jump manga series, much to the dismay of Boruto fans.

After reading the remarks from CSM fans, Boruto fans promptly informed them that the Masashi Kishimoto manga is released monthly and its most recent chapter came out two weeks prior. Therefore, it was expected to have a lower number of viewers.

“Boruto is a monthly manga, chapter was released like 2 weeks ago, and English is not the only language, it’s still at 1st place,”one fan said.

“Select all languages bro,”another added.

Additionally, while the Tatsuki Fujimoto manga was only ranked first in English, the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga achieved the top ranking worldwide.

Furthermore, there were also other fans who brought up the allegations of Boruto fans artificially inflating their reader numbers through the use of bots. These fans, despite lacking any evidence, still made these accusations.

“Boruto bots. Sad cope,”another fan said.

“Yuji domain and still not top spot is crazyyyyyy. I wonder if it’s partly because so many people read leaks and not the official releases,”other fan said.

Despite the highly anticipated release of the latest manga chapter featuring series protagonist Yuji Itadori using his Domain Expansion for the first time, fans were surprised to find that Jujutsu Kaisen did not claim the top spot. This left many questioning why the series was not ranked first, as this long-awaited moment should have propelled it to the number one spot.

The manga’s decrease in total views was attributed to fans reading spoilers and leaks rather than the official releases.
