Chainsaw Man Chapter 176: Bringing Mouths Back into the World in a Shocking Way

Chainsaw Man Chapter 176: Bringing Mouths Back into the World in a Shocking Way

In Chapter 176 of Chainsaw Man, Yoru’s master plan is successful as it unexpectedly brings mouths back into existence.

Despite always having an air of oddity, Chainsaw Man has reached new levels of strangeness in the recent chapters. Following Nayuta’s harrowing death, Denji becomes consumed by grief and transforms into his titular form, losing control.

Ever since, he has eliminated countless adversaries, continuously eradicating some fundamental concepts from existence. The initial concept to go was ears, followed by snow, mouths, and arms, all of which were eventually removed from the world.

Despite facing certain death at the hands of the titular character, Yoru takes a drastic measure to defeat her opponent. This decision comes at a great cost, but Yoru is willing to make the sacrifice in order to defeat the most powerful Devil.

Yoru summons her children, the Gun Devil and the Tank Devil, and uses their powers to defeat Chainsaw Man and make him regurgitate the Mouth Devil, effectively restoring the presence of mouths in the world.

Despite Yoru’s seemingly insurmountable opponent in the Chainsaw Man, the shocking development in Chapter 176 reveals that the War Devil possesses a hidden arsenal. Not only are her children her weapons, but she also has the ability to wield them at will.

Considering the fact that the chainsaw is already a formidable weapon, it raises the question of whether Yoru has control over Pochita as well. If this is indeed true, it would undoubtedly be one of the most unexpected plot twists in the manga, and that is certainly saying a lot.

Fans are ecstatic about the release of Chainsaw Man Chapter 176 and the clever way in which this new plot twist is incorporated into the story. As one fan expressed on X, there may be a need to discuss the possibility of Part 2 surpassing the excellence of Part 1.

“They accused you of losing your artistic vision and being washed up. They doubted your abilities to soar and cook. But don’t let their words bring you down, Fujimoto,”wrote another person, according to a tweet from the Benevolnt Shrine.

A third person tweeted, “I was not familiar with your game, but after seeing you in action, I understand why you are considered a horseman of the apocalypse. Come to me, Yoru.”

The upcoming Chapter 177, set to be released on September 17, 2024, will reveal Yoru’s next move against the Chainsaw Man. There will be a break next week before the release.
