The portion of the Chainsaw Man series centered around Reze is alternatively referred to as the Bomb Girl Arc and spans 13 chapters. This amount of plot is suitable for a feature-length adaptation and allows for the remaining three arcs (45 chapters) of the Public Safety Saga to potentially be included in the next season.
The Chainsaw Man manga is currently divided into two parts: the Public Safety Saga and the ongoing Academy Saga. While there is still much material to cover, Studio MAPPA is smart to pace themselves due to production concerns such as workload and crunch. The high production value also makes this approach beneficial.
Is Chainsaw Man Season 2 Happening?
At the moment, there is no confirmation of a second season for Chainsaw Man. The only known follow-up to the first season is Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.
