Changing Difficulty in Space Marine 2
To adjust the difficulty in Space Marine 2, simply access the main menu before beginning the campaign. However, if you have already begun, you can still change the difficulty by accessing the option menu while on the Battle Barge. Another option is to use the in-world console on the Battle Barge.
In order to locate the console shown in the screenshot above, you must be at the base of operations in the main campaign. The terminal is situated next to the airship used for initiating new missions. Upon accessing the terminal, you will find the difficulty selection option in the top left corner of the screen.
Changing Difficulty Setting During a Mission in Space Marine 2
It’s unfortunate that you cannot alter the difficulty mode while in the middle of a mission. This is most likely due to the fact that reloading the entire level would be necessary. However, returning to the Battle Barge from a mission is not a difficult task and it will not cause you to lose any progress. All you have to do is open the menu, choose “Go back to the Battle Barge,”and confirm your decision. This will bring you back to the difficulty selection terminal.
Remember that in co-op mode, the Squad Leader is the only one who can adjust the difficulty. If you’re playing solo, you will automatically be designated as the Squad Leader.
