Chaos erupts as John Fury headbutts member of Oleksandr Usyk camp before fight

John Fury, father of Tyson Fury, ended up with blood on his face after he headbutted a member of Oleksandr Usyk’s team in the lead up to the highly anticipated undisputed world heavyweight title match on Saturday, May 18th in Saudi Arabia.

The week leading up to Fury vs Usyk’s fight has started in a contentious manner, as a heated argument between members of both camps escalated into physical altercations.

The hotel lobby surveillance camera captured an intense exchange between John, aged 59, and a member of Usyk’s team. The argument eventually escalated to the point where Fury’s father threw a headbutt.

Despite being held back by security, John’s forehead was bleeding profusely from a cut sustained during the altercation. As he was led away from the scene, chants of “Usyk, Usyk, Usyk”filled the air.

After spending some time in another room, Fury eventually came out and inquired about the whereabouts of his father’s head.

As he addressed the crowd, John exclaimed, “The greatest show on earth has started. So sit back and enjoy. This is what it’s all about – the entertainment. And now, I will lead you in our rendition of “Fury, Fury, Fury”chants.

The upcoming fight between Fury and Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia has captured the attention of the entire boxing community. It is set to take place this weekend.

Despite initially being forced to postpone the first scheduled date for the fight, Fury, the WBC champion, has reaffirmed his determination to touch gloves with Usyk, stating that he will do so “cut eye or not”.

Despite predicting that Fury will defeat Usyk within 12 rounds, his promoter Frank Warren has cautioned the fighter that the Ukrainian will likely aim for the cut above his eye.
