In chapter 152 of Wind Breaker, titled “Symbol,”Endo picked up his commentary right where it left off in the previous chapter. He noted Sakura’s worried expression and remarked that they were lucky to have front-row seats to witness the intense fight between Takiishi and Umemiya. Endo encouraged Sakura to fully immerse herself in the battle, as it would be a shame not to appreciate such a grand spectacle.

In chapter 152 of Wind Breaker, the focus shifted to Sakura’s perspective. He pondered how to find enjoyment in a fight when he couldn’t even identify his leader. He struggled to describe the battle they were witnessing, only able to come up with words like fear, worry, and hatred.

Sakura reflected on Endo’s remarks about Takiishi, in which he praised his leader’s godly appearance during the match against Umemiya. While Sakura initially refuted Endo’s claims, she eventually came to understand his perspective after witnessing Takiishi’s ecstatic performance.

In chapter 152 of Wind Breaker, the focus shifted to the ultimate battle between Umemiya and Takiishi, in which Umemiya successfully impaled his opponent. Sakura reflected on how he had witnessed similar leadership skills from Umemiya during a previous fight against Choji Tomiyama of Shishitoren. Despite this, Sakura acknowledged that Umemiya’s emotions were more apparent back then, and he maintained his role as the leader of Furin.

However, Sakura was unable to confirm if the individual battling Takiishi was indeed Umemiya. He had acknowledged that, similar to Takiishi, Umemiya possessed a fiery demeanor. As the fight continued, Takiishi retaliated and pierced Umemiya, revealing his tattoos.

Sakura recalled Endo’s tattoos and came to the realization that they matched her own. She questioned if these tattoos were a symbol for the team, Keel, who had infiltrated their town years ago. In an instant, Endo’s demeanor shifted and he vehemently denied any association with that group of outcasts. He confessed that their tattoos were solely a representation of Takiishi and himself, and that they were simply in need of more members to form a group.

“In chapter 152 of Wind Breaker, there was a flashback to when Endo and Takiishi formed a group together. During this time, Takiishi expressed his desire for a tattoo. Endo then offered to create a design for him, which Takiishi agreed to have tattooed on his shoulder.”

Endo explained that the Ishibiya, the first cannon used in Japan, served as the inspiration for the tattoo. The name, consisting of ‘Ish,’ ‘bi,’ and ‘ya,’ signified ‘stone,’ ‘fire,’ and ‘projectile,’ symbolizing Takiishi’s persona. Additionally, Ishibiya was given the moniker Kunikuzushi, translating to ‘destroyer of countries.’

Endo further expressed that if both he and Takiishi had been born in ancient times, Takiishi alone would have been capable of single-handedly destroying a country or two, much like the title of their group suggests. Endo also remarked that Takiishi’s heart was solely driven by his personal preferences, with no outside influences affecting him. Nonetheless, Endo admitted that he was mistaken in his previous statement.

In chapter 152 of Wind Breaker, Endo revealed that he was aware of someone else residing in Takiishi’s heart – the leader of Furin, Umemiya. Endo explained that Takiishi willingly allowed Umemiya into his heart, causing the ex-Furin to become envious of the current leader.
