The latest chapter of One Punch Man, ‘You Pass,’ continued the story from the previous chapter’s ending. Instead of shaking Flash’s hand, the mysterious individual suddenly clenched their fist and struck Flash in the face. It was later revealed to be Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, who intervened to help Flash break free from the manipulative genjutsu.

According to Sonic, the genjutsu manipulated individuals by exploiting their emotional attachments. Flash was taken aback when he saw a vision of his childhood friend, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, realizing he was emotionally reliant on him. However, he chose not to disclose this to Sonic and instead told him he was experiencing a nightmare.

Upon witnessing this, Empty Void referred to Flashy Flash and Speed-o’-Sound Sonic as a “dynamic duo.”While Flash displayed exceptional skill, Sonic demonstrated unmatched heart, resulting in a harmonious equilibrium between the two. Despite their individual strengths, neither ninja was willing to admit any shortcomings and instead launched a fierce attack against the former founder of the Ninja Village.

As the two charged towards him, Empty Void appeared to step out of their dimension and enter a space beyond the laws of the universe. This enabled Empty Void to manipulate dimensions like bubbles and utilize unique techniques to intervene from the outside. This was the same Dimension Slash that fans had witnessed Empty Void use on the Hero Association building before.

Although Flash successfully avoided the attack in his dimension, Sonic appeared to have been severed by the attack. Immediately after, Empty Void presented Flash with his enigmatic cube and requested that he serve as his arms and legs while he uses Dimension Slash to wipe out humanity from the Earth’s surface.

As Empty Void closed in on Flash, Blast suddenly emerged and struck him with his Gravity Knuckle. To everyone’s surprise, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic had also returned to his original state, leading them to believe that Blast had concealed his upper body in a different dimension through his gate.

Following this, Blast exposed the fact that he had been present on the battlefield because he had noticed something awry with the letter that Flash had received, and had been tracking his movements from a higher vantage point.

Despite losing track of Flash, Blast was able to locate them with the assistance of Empty Void’s Dimension Slash. In light of this, Blast commended Sonic and Flash for resisting the temptation of the cube.
