Fast-casual eatery Chili’s is stepping in to offer a solution to dissatisfied fast food patrons by introducing their latest burger, The Smasher.
Chili’s experienced a 15% increase in sales due to their recently launched “3 For Me”promotion, which offers customers a fountain drink, entree, and appetizer for only $10.99.

Chili’s may not directly mention the Big Mac in their advertisement, but they do make a comparison to a burger with two patties and three buns, which is a familiar sight.
Despite its less than stellar reputation, Chili’s is often categorized as “so bad, it’s good.”However, this burger stands out as a shining star on their menu.
According to CEO Kevin Hochman’s statement during an April earnings call, Chili’s analyzed social media conversations and found that customers were expressing frustration with fast food prices. As a result, they decided to run ads that use fast food as a comparison.
The Big Smasher is described as having “double the beef of a Big Mac and flavors that are familiar to fast food enthusiasts.”
If you’re unsure about which appetizer to choose from the 3 For Me deal, consider trying the popular secret menu mozzarella sticks.
