Chilling Horror Series Inspired by Reddit NoSleep Stories Set to Premiere This Halloween

A new horror anthology TV series is set to premiere this Halloween, inspired by one of the creepiest corners of the internet: the NoSleep subreddit.

Currently, r/nosleep boasts 18 million members. These stories are akin to Creepypastas; while every NoSleep tale could be a Creepypasta, not every Creepypasta fits the NoSleep mold.

As stated, each story is presented as a terrifying personal experience, treated as ‘true,’ regardless of its fictional nature. They maintain a sense of reality and avoid becoming overly fantastical – and, crucially, they are genuinely unsettling, surpassing even some notable horror films.

**Tales from the Void** is the brand-new series based on the subreddit’s “most haunting” viral narratives. It is set to launch on **SCREAMBOX** on October 13, featuring two episodes released each week until October 27.

“From eerie dolls to unborn children, unsolved mysteries to serial murders, unexplained invasions to creatures that stalk the night, the series captures a vast array of horror. Each chilling tale combines genre thrills with social commentary, diving deep into the darker realms of human psychology,” the streaming platform has teased.

SCREAMBOX has unveiled the official schedule along with all of the NoSleep stories that have inspired the series:

Every episode will be followed by a post-show interview featuring the original authors of the stories.

Francesco Loschiavo, the creator of the series, commented: “For *Tales from the Void*, we curated a special selection of NoSleep stories. Great horror tales can originate from anywhere on NoSleep, whether from seasoned writers or first-time authors, and we wanted that ethos to resonate on screen. Each week presents a new subgenre of horror, celebrating the depth and variety of the genre.”

During October, over 250 horror films are making their way onto streaming platforms, perfect for Halloween viewing. Make sure to explore these titles as part of your spooky season festivities!
