Chinese Influencer Gains Recognition for Striking Similarity to BLACKPINK’s Jennie

A Chinese influencer has gained attention on the internet for her striking resemblance to BLACKPINK’s Jennie.

In the beginning of this year, Jennie introduced her third partnership with high-end eyewear brand Gentle Monster. Named “Jentle Salon,”the collection includes a wide range of stylish eyewear and charms.

The celebrity sported various styles to advertise her eyewear line. One particular look that gained widespread attention showed Jennie sporting a pair of glasses from her own collection. She was dressed in a white mini dress with spaghetti straps, complemented by a black scarf and white tights.

The idol’s neutral-toned outfit perfectly complemented her long braids and red lips, which were greatly admired and caught attention from many.

A TikTok video surfaced recently showing an influencer at a Gentle Monster store, which was decorated with “Jentle Salon”theme. This caused a stir among netizens as the influencer bore an uncanny resemblance to the “SOLO”singer.

Upon seeing the striking resemblance, certain individuals even went as far as checking Jennie’s Instagram and other social media accounts in fear of having missed a post from the celebrity.

Despite the influencer’s striking resemblance to Jennie’s viral look, there was confusion over their identities. Yet, it didn’t take long for people to uncover the influencer’s Weibo account, where many praised her captivating appearance.

The primary factor for their similarity is their feline-like eyes. When they winked, the two appeared even more alike due to their distinctive eye shapes. Moreover, the resemblance was accentuated by the influencer wearing glasses from Jennie’s collection.

Despite claims from some individuals that they only resembled each other from certain angles, other photos clearly show distinct differences in their eyebrow and lip shapes.
