Cho Yoon-hee and Lee Dong-gun Share Feelings on Divorce: Everyday Nightmare vs Too Few People Taking My Side

A sneak peek of the upcoming episode of TV Chosun’s popular entertainment show “Now I’m Alone”was recently unveiled. The show follows the lives of individuals who have recently become single, showcasing their experiences and adjustments in the “single”world as they prepare for their next chapter.

Actress Cho Yoon-hee, who married actor Lee Dong-gun in 2017 and welcomed a daughter in December of that year, divorced in 2020. In a recent teaser video, Cho opens up about her struggles during the marriage, saying, “I used to have trouble sleeping and had frequent nightmares. It was a difficult time for me.”In 2021, Cho appeared on JTBC’s “Brave Solo Parenting: I Rise”to share her experience of being a single mother raising her daughter Roa. During the show, she revealed that Lee Dong-gun and their daughter have weekly meetings on Sundays.

In the upcoming broadcast, Lee Dong-gun plans to express his feelings about the divorce, bringing renewed attention to his past mention of life after the divorce on a previous broadcast. Specifically, he made an appearance on the SBS entertainment show “My Little Old Boy”last year where he revealed that it had been three years since the divorce. He expressed that it felt as though time had passed in a blur and shared that the question he disliked the most was, “Why did you two divorce?”He added that when he tried to explain, he was often met with criticism. He also opened up about the lack of support he received during the divorce, saying, “There were very few people who took my side.”
