Chun Woo-hee: I’m Happy to Repay Her 13-Year Love

On May 23rd, StarNews conducted an interview with actress Chun Woo-hee at a cafe located in Samcheong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The purpose of the interview was to discuss her upcoming Netflix original series, “The 8 Show.”

In a recent event, Cheon Woo-hee garnered significant attention for delivering a congratulatory speech at the wedding of a long-time female fan. During her speech, she expressed her gratitude towards the fan who had supported her for 13 years, stating, “We have shared a fan-actress relationship for 13 years. She has consistently followed my career and provided me with encouragement. It is truly a privilege for an actress to receive such unwavering support and love from someone outside of their own family. As a gesture of gratitude, I am determined to reciprocate the love that she has silently bestowed upon me. In fact, I am determined to go above and beyond.”

Chun Woo-hee expressed her gratitude towards her fans, stating that she has always been appreciative of their support. As someone who has never been a big fan of anyone, she wonders how much she can truly like someone who is not a family member or friend. She is constantly amazed and grateful for their unwavering support, especially towards a fan who has been with her for 13 years. She felt compelled to congratulate this fan as she recently got married before her.

“She explained, “I wrote the congratulatory message in one sitting, thinking of all the things I wanted to say. As an actress, I have always tried to keep a certain distance from my fans to avoid any potential hurt or negative aspects. However, they understood my intentions perfectly and I was able to express many of my sincere feelings. Fortunately, they were very pleased with my words and I was grateful to be able to do something for them. I have never been one to speak eloquently, so I simply poured my heart and genuine emotions into the message.”
