On June 25th at 6 p.m., Chuu will be making her highly anticipated comeback with the release of her second mini album “Strawberry Rush”. The album and its title track will be available on all music platforms, accompanied by a music video. Following the release, Chuu will embark on various promotional activities. This marks her return after 4 months since her previous digital single “Chocolate”in February and 8 months since her last mini album “Howl”in October of last year.
Chuu’s upcoming mini-album, “Strawberry Rush,”will build upon the themes explored in her previous release, “Howl.”It will delve into the journey of rediscovering the childhood dreams and imaginations that have been neglected amidst the pursuit of success in a monotonous world. The lead single, a captivating electro-pop track, features a dreamy synth sound and a distinct bassline, complemented by an upbeat melody and playful lyrics that showcase Chuu’s infectious positivity and heartfelt emotions.
Chuu is not only excelling in her main role as a singer, but also actively participating in entertainment programs and has a strong desire to explore acting. She shared, “There are those who become fans after seeing me on broadcasts, and others who are drawn to me through LOONA’s performances. I believe there are also fans who come to support me through my solo activities. I have many aspirations and I want to demonstrate my growth through a diverse range of activities. Furthermore, I am eager to try my hand at acting and engage with fans through a variety of projects in the future.”
Chuu mentioned IU as her role model and praised her for excelling in various fields beyond singing. Despite her own inexperience, Chuu is determined to follow in IU’s footsteps and is taking steps towards achieving her goals. She even had the opportunity to attend IU’s concert and received a warm hug from her backstage. Chuu hopes to attend another concert in the future and make a lasting impression on IU.
Chuu took on the challenge of acting in the web drama “Dating Class”right after her debut. Reflecting on the experience, she fondly recalled, “I had such a wonderful time. It sparked my interest in acting and I started studying by watching various dramas and movies. Even while preparing for my album, I enjoyed seeing myself on the monitor. It made me realize how important it is to consider my facial expressions, face angles, and actions for the screen, and it motivated me to pursue acting further.”
