Streaming influencer Cinnabrit, known for her engaging content, is taking a definitive stand against the unauthorized use of her clips in gambling advertisements. She has openly threatened legal action against those exploiting her footage to promote gambling products without her consent.
The intersection of gambling and streaming has been a contentious issue over the past few years. Following Twitch’s 2022 ban on gambling streams, the landscape has evolved, giving rise to platforms like Kick, which endorse gambling-related content. This shift has led to a new trend where gambling companies advertise through contextual manipulation of unrelated streaming clips.
Recently, a notable pattern has emerged on Twitter, where accounts post clips of streamers with gambling logos superimposed on them, often without the streamers’ consent. Cinnabrit has found herself at the center of this trend, prompting her to take action.
Cinnabrit’s Legal Threat Against Unauthorized Use of Clips
On January 11, a Twitter handle shared a clip from one of Cinnabrit’s recent streams, prominently displaying a Rainbet logo, a competitor in the online gambling industry. Cinnabrit responded vehemently, indicating that she would consult her legal team regarding this unauthorized use.
In a direct statement, she highlighted, “I am done. This has nothing to do with the clip and is directly false narratives clipped out of context. Not to mention putting an illegal ad on my content.”
bro yeah im contacting my lawyers about these stake clips im done. This has nothing to do with the clip and is directly false narratives clipped out of context. Not to mention putting an illegal ad on my content.

Cinnabrit’s tweet gained substantial traction, amassing over 12,000 likes, as many users chimed in to support her stance against the misleading advertising practices. Comments from her followers reflected a collective frustration regarding the exploitation of creators’ content for commercial gain without proper attribution or consent.
One supporter commented, “Yeah, Cinna, get him,” while another exclaimed, “Please actually do this; I will do anything to make it happen.” The sentiments expressed reveal a broader concern within the streaming community about the unchecked use of creators’ content.
Although Rainbet labeled its overlay as an advertisement, this act violates X’s terms of service since it does not provide a clear commercial context. Cinnabrit’s non-involvement in promoting gambling creates grounds for her potential legal claims, particularly regarding defamation if she perceives that these clips misrepresent her character.
This incident is not isolated; other streamers have previously expressed similar grievances. Notably, in late 2024, Valkyrae also considered legal action against accounts utilizing her content for gambling promotions, indicating a worrying trend within the streaming realm.
As the lines between content creation and commercial interests continue to blur, the industry must grapple with these emerging challenges to protect creators’ rights and integrity.
