The latest New York City performance by CIX, the popular K-pop group, left fans’ hearts fluttering.
In May, CIX began their eight-city “<0 or 1> IN NORTH AMERICA”tour, making it their third North American tour since their debut. On May 12, 2024, CIX started the tour with their first stop in New York City.
The five-member boy band, consisting of BX, Seunghun, Bae Jinyoung, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk, gave an incredible two-hour performance, entertaining the audience with a total of 22 songs. During breaks, the members took the time to connect with their fans through a translator, conveying their appreciation and affection for everyone who came to see them.
During the entire concert, the members of CIX displayed their impressive physiques as they danced to their choreographies – including a few body rolls that were well-received by their loyal FIX fandom. Despite their sultry performances, the boys also revealed their playful side by joking about needing to hydrate between sets, as their heavy breathing could be heard through the microphones.
The group expressed their gratitude towards the fans who attended their show on Mother’s Day. They continuously expressed their love for FIXs and acknowledged how the fans’ energy fueled their performance. One member even exclaimed, “You’re bringing so much heat to this place!”

The setlist flawlessly switched between lively dance tracks and heartfelt ballads, garnering a positive response from the audience. The show began with the energetic and industrial “Move My Body,”and was followed by the edgy and rhythm-shifting “Bad Dream”and the percussive “458.”These were complemented by slower songs such as “Drown in Luv”and more relaxed performances like “LOST,””Imagine,”and “Wave,”during which the members interacted with the crowd, walking around the stage, waving and making heart gestures, and playfully engaging with the enthusiastic fans who danced, screamed, and waved their light sticks.
Despite their recent debut and having to face a global pandemic just weeks after, CIX has managed to build an impressive collection of high-quality songs. Although some of their earlier releases such as “Jungle”and “Numb”were not included in their setlist, this gave the group the opportunity to showcase the unique voices and personalities of each member.
During their individual performances, Hyunsuk sang LANY’s popular ballad “ILYSB,”while Yonghee opted for Troye Sivan’s widely-known track “Angel Baby.”As the rapper of the group, BX chose to cover Marteen’s “Left to Right”and also filled in for Latto’s rap in Bae Jinyoung’s rendition of BTS Jungkook’s “Seven.”Seunghun concluded the solo segment with a tribute to one of New York’s iconic singers, Alicia Keys, by delivering a flawless cover of her early hit “If I Ain’t Got You.”
Following their performance in New York City, the boys continued their tour to several other cities, including Montreal, San Jun, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Mexico City, and Los Angeles.
