Clorinde’s Abilities in Genshin Impact

Normal Attack: Marechaussee Creed

Regular Attack

  • Has the ability to execute a maximum of 5 quick attacks.

Charged Attacks refer to a type of attack that requires a buildup of energy before it can be executed.

  • She expends a specific amount of Stamina to deftly sprint ahead, striking with her blade and firing Suppressing Shots from her pistolet in a fan-shaped pattern.

The Plunging Attack remains the same.

  • The attack involves a downward movement from mid-air, hitting the ground and causing damage to enemies in its path. Upon impact, it also deals area of effect damage.

Skill: Hunt the Dark

In preparation for combat, she equips her pistol and enters the “Night Watch”state, combining steel and shot. While in this state, Clorinde’s Normal Attacks are replaced with “Wild Hunt”pistol attacks that deal Electro DMG, unaffected by infusions. Her Elemental Skill becomes “Impale the Night”, unleashing a lunge that inflicts Electro DMG. This type of damage is classified as Normal Attack DMG.

The Wild Hunt is a well-known event.

  • When her Bond of Life reaches 100% or higher of her maximum HP, she will execute a regular pistolet shot.
  • When her Bond of Life is below 100%, firing her pistol will increase her Bond of Life by an amount determined by her maximum HP. The bullets she shoots can penetrate through enemies, resulting in increased damage dealt to those in their path.

Pierce the Darkness

By removing Clorinde’s Bond of Life, the effectiveness of Impale the Night can be increased depending on the percentage of her maximum HP that was cleared by the Bond of Life.

  • If no Bond of Life is removed, execute a regular lunging strike.
  • When the Bond of Life cleared is less than 100% of her maximum HP, the AoE of Clorinde’s lunging attack and the amount of DMG dealt will be increased, and she will also be healed. The amount of healing will depend on the value of the Bond of Life cleared.
  • When the Bond of Life reaches 100% or more of her maximum HP, she will activate Impale the Night: Pact. This will increase the area of effect and damage of the lunge, as well as the healing multiplier.

Moreover, while Clorinde is in the Night Watch state, any healing effects besides Impale the Night will not activate and will instead be transformed into a Bond of Life, which is a portion of the healing that would have been granted.

The Greek philosopher Aristotle believed that the fundamental principle of all existence is “arkhe,”which can be translated as “ousia.”

  • At regular intervals, whenever Clorinde’s pistol shots hit her enemies, a Surging Blade will descend upon their location, causing Ousia-aligned Electro damage.

Last Lightfall

  • She grants herself a Bond of Life using her maximum HP, then swiftly evades and strikes with her saber and sidearm as one, dealing Area of Effect Electro damage.

Passive Skills

The Yield of Night Watch

  • The mini-map will show the specific location of nearby resources that are only found in Fontaine.

The flame known as “Dark-Shattering”remained unchanged in its destructive power.

  • When a nearby party member triggers an Electro-related reaction against an opponent, Clorinde’s ATK will increase Normal Attack and Last Lightfall’s Electro DMG by 17% for 15 seconds. This buff can stack up to a maximum of 3 times, with each stack being counted independently. The maximum possible increase in DMG for these attacks is 1,530.

Compensation in Accordance with the Law

  • If Clorinde’s Bond of Life is 100% or higher of her Max HP, her CRIT Rate will be boosted by 10% for 15 seconds whenever her Bond of Life value changes. This effect can stack up to 2 times, with each stack being counted separately.
  • Moreover, Hunt the Night’s Night Watch state receives a buff, causing the percentage of healing converted to Bond of Life to increase to 100% while active.

Clorinde’s Constellations in Genshin Impact

Level 1- From This Day, I Bestow the Candle’s Shadow-Veil: While the Night Watch state of Hunt the Dark is activated, Clorinde’s Normal Attacks that deal Electro DMG to opponents will summon a Nightwatch Shade near the target. The shade will perform two coordinated attacks, each dealing 30% of Clorinde’s ATK as Electro DMG. This effect can only occur once every second and the DMG dealt will be considered as Normal Attack DMG.

Level 2- As we confront the dangers of the prolonged night, the Passive Talent “Dark-Shattering Flame”will receive a buff. It will now increase Electro DMG dealt by Normal Attacks and Last Lightfall by 24% of Clorinde’s ATK for 15 seconds after a nearby party member triggers an Electro-related reaction against an opponent. The buff can stack up to 3 times, with each stack being counted individually. Upon reaching 3 stacks, Clorinde will gain increased interruption resistance. The maximum possible DMG increase from these attacks is 2,160. To benefit from this buff, you must first unlock the Passive Talent “Dark-Shattering Flame.”

Level 3- I Vow to Uphold the Oath of Daylight: Boosts the Level of Hunt the Dark by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.

Level 4- To Honor Tears, Life, and Love: Whenever Last Lightfall inflicts damage on opponent(s), the amount of damage dealt will be augmented by Clorinde’s Bond of Life percentage. For every 1% of her current Bond of Life, the damage inflicted by Last Lightfall will increase by 2%. The maximum achievable increase in Last Lightfall’s damage through this method is 200%.

Level 5- Holding Dawn’s Coming as my Votive: Enhances the Last Lightfall level by 3. The highest level that can be reached is 15.

Level 6- I Shall Never Lose Hope: After using Hunt the Night, Clorinde’s CRIT Rate will be increased by 10% and her CRIT DMG by 70% for 12s. In addition, while Night Watch is active, a Glimbright Shade will emerge to protect Clorinde. This shade will decrease the damage she receives by 80% for 1s and enhance her resistance to interruptions. It will also attack enemies, dealing 200% of Clorinde’s ATK as Electro DMG, which is considered Normal Attack DMG. The Glimbright Shade will appear in the following situations:

  • Before Clorinde is about to be attacked by an opponent.
  • When Clorinde utilizes Impale the Night: Pact.
  • One Glimbright Shade can be summoned every X seconds using the methods mentioned above. During a single Night Watch duration, a maximum of 6 Shades can be summoned.
