CoD Expert Believes Clue to New Warzone Map Is Hidden in BO6 Reveal Trailer

Even though Black Ops 6 is not set to be released anytime soon, a CoD Easter egg specialist suggests that the reveal trailer for BO6 may contain a hidden hint about the new map for Warzone.

The reveal event for Black Ops 6 was packed with information about the Campaign, Zombies, and multiplayer, highlighting the ongoing narrative of the Black Ops series.

Despite Warzone not being showcased at the event, the small amount of BO6 content that was revealed was sufficient for CoD Easter egg specialist geekypastimes to potentially uncover a hidden reference in the teaser trailer hinting at Warzone’s upcoming map.

As mentioned in a previous X post, the creator highlighted the level of detail in one of the BO6 multiplayer maps. The large size of the map led them to believe that it could be considered “part of a larger map, similar to a Warzone map.”

As a result of this inquisitiveness, Cassian, another member of the Warzone community, discovered a map known as Avalon within the Rebirth Island submarine. Its design was found to be an exact match with the surrounding area of the BO6 map under question.

Several players responded to the post speculating that the map could be for the Resurgence game mode due to its smaller size compared to a typical battle royale map. In response, Geeky pointed out that the screenshot may not depict the entire map, as there are additional locations that resemble points of interest further out.

Building upon this theory, popular content creator WhosImmortal noted in a video released on June 13th that it is quite fascinating to discover the inclusion of this map within the Rebirth Island submarine in Warzone.

Additionally, he concurred that connecting Avalon to the upcoming Warzone map was a possibility. Despite its seemingly compact dimensions, he surmised that it could potentially serve as the designated map for the Resurgence mode, especially following the exclusion of Ashika Island.

It is important to remember that these are all mere speculations, as there has not been any official confirmation about a potential Warzone map set in the Black Ops 6 era. Prior to the revelation by geekypastimes, earlier leaks had suggested that Verdansk might make a comeback as the battle royale map.

The quest for answers will persist, however, players can anticipate additional information soon as the worldwide reveal for BO6’s multiplayer is scheduled to take place on August 28 at the CoD Next event.
