What to expect at CoD Next – Multiplayer, Zombies & Warzone
The highly anticipated CoD Next 2024 event will offer the first comprehensive preview of Black Ops 6 multiplayer. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the new maps, weapons, and omnimovement feature before the beta release.
Although we’ve already had a sneak peek, this is where Treyarch will showcase MP in greater depth, featuring new trailers and gameplay.
The upcoming event will feature an increased number of Zombies, as a result of the significant intel release on August 8th regarding Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. While the Terminus map has already been unveiled, attendees can anticipate a detailed exploration of Liberty Falls during the event.

We can also expect to receive further information on the upcoming chapter of Warzone, as it has been confirmed. As with previous releases, the battle royale mode will be integrated with the newest multiplayer installment, and Raven Software will likely clarify how the release of BO6 will impact the game in the future.
We are aware that Warzone will continue to include weapons and skins from MW2 and MW3, as well as incorporating content from Black Ops 6, including the new omnidirectional movement features. We are eagerly anticipating the implementation of Urzikstan Ranked Play.
Leaks suggest that the beloved Verdansk will make a comeback as the primary BR map, replacing Urzikstan. If this turns out to be true, CoD Next could potentially provide a glimpse of the revamped map and how it has been adapted to incorporate the latest features introduced over time. However, this has not been officially confirmed and sources indicate that it may not be unveiled until at least Season 2 of Black Ops 6.
As the event approaches, a schedule detailing what will be covered will likely be released. We will make sure to continuously update this page with the most recent information.
Before the release of CoD Next, be sure to stay informed about the transfer of skins from MW3 to BO6 and how to gain early access to the beta by pre-ordering the game.
