On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the official website and social media accounts for Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture released a new promotional video and visual for the anime’s second installment. The short clip announced that the sequel will debut in Japanese theatres on June 7, 2024.
Notably, the first part of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture was released on May 10, 2024. As previously announced, the anime will be released in four parts in Japan. The second part will follow on June 7, 2024, with the third part coming out on July 5, 2024, and the fourth and final part releasing on August 2, 2024.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection – Part 2 Trailer and Visual Released Ahead of Premiere
As previously stated, the official staff for the second installment of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture streamed a promotional video on Saturday, May 10, 2024. The highly anticipated anime is set to debut on June 7, 2024.
The second installment will be followed by a third part on July 5, 2024, and the fourth part on August 2, 2024. It was announced by the staff at Anime Japan 2024 that the anime will be released exclusively for streaming on the Disney+ platform’s Star brand in late June 2024.
The most recent promotional video showcases the main characters, Rozé and Ash, as well as other important characters who will be featured in the second part of the series. In addition to showcasing key plot points, the trailer also gives a sneak peek of the opening theme song, “Running in My Head,”by MIYAVI.
Simultaneously, the anime’s official team released a fresh visual for the second installment showcasing Rozé, the main protagonist, and Sakuya Sumeragi. Furthermore, the staff also revealed a design concept for the Zi-Artemis Knightmare frame.
Cast and staff for Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture
Sunrise Studios produced the anime Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, which boasts an impressive cast and staff. Kohei Amasaki takes on the role of the main character, Rozé, in this mecha series, with Makoto Furukawa as the deuteragonist, Ash. The talented Reina Ueda voices Sakuya, while Kana Ichinose lends her voice to Chalice.
Yumi Uchiyama portrays the character of Nala, and Hiroki Yasumoto has been added to the cast as Noland. Daisuke Hirakawa provides the voice for Stanely, and Nao Toyama assumes the role of Catherine. Yasuyuki Kase voices Walter, and Masaaki Mizunaka lends his voice to Divock. The extensive cast list also includes numerous other renowned voice actors.
Yoshimitsu Ohashi is in charge of directing at Sunrise studios for this anime, while Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura are responsible for character design, using CLAMP’s original designs as a reference.
Noboru Kimura oversees the supervision and script writing, while Junichi Akutsu makes his return to the franchise as the designer of the Knightmare frames. Goro Taniguchi is acknowledged for the original story, and Kenji Kawai has joined the team as the composer for the music.
The story of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture takes place after the events of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection anime. It centers around two brothers, Rozé and Ash, who work as mercenaries and are determined to take on the Neo-Britannian Empire in order to reclaim Emperor Sakuya.
