On April 11, 2024, the initial key visual for the highly anticipated series, Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, was unveiled on the official website and X account. Along with this exciting reveal, 14 new cast members were also announced. Japanese audiences can look forward to the release of the anime in four parts, with the first installment set to premiere on May 10, 2024, followed by the second part on June 7, 2024.
The third and fourth parts of the anime will debut on July 5 and August 2, 2024, respectively. According to the website, the series will be exclusively available on Disney Plus’ “Star”worldwide in late June 2024. Titled Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, it will feature an original narrative centered around two mercenary brothers, Ash and Rozé.
Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture’s Key Visual Revealed, Featuring Ash and Rozé
As previously stated, the official team behind Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture released the initial key visual for the anime on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The visual showcases the primary protagonists, Ash and Rozé, who are depicted as brothers in the series.
In addition to the characters, the visual also features a Knightmare frame in the background. Clearly, the use of vibrant colors in the visual only adds to the excitement for the anime’s upcoming release. As previously mentioned, the series will be released in four parts, with the first installment scheduled for May 10 of this year.
In addition to the key visual, the official website and social media accounts for the mecha anime have also revealed information about 14 new cast members. Takaya Kuroda will be playing the role of Kensei Kuroto, the leader of the Sichiko Seidan, and Miyu Tomita will be voicing Haruka Rutaka, a skilled pilot of the Knightmare Frame.
Shoya Chiba has been added to the cast as Tomo’omi Oda, alongside Katsuyuki Konishi who portrays Isao Monobe. Taito Ban, a well-known voice actor, takes on the role of Shota Munemori in Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture, and Anzu Haruno is cast as Yuri Sano, the skilled mechanic responsible for the maintenance of the Knightmare Frames.
The cast of the anime includes Riho Sugiyama as Yoko Araki, Hayato Fujii as Sanshiro Tomi, Yutaka Aoyama as Tokio Iwamoto, Chikahiro Kobayashi as Kaoru Shizuka, Kanehira Yamamoto as Shiro Sazanami, and Yuka Terasaki as Natalia Luxembourg.
Haruka Shiraishi, a renowned voice actor, has been added to the voice cast as the character Mei Ema. Additionally, Masashi Nogawa has also joined the cast to voice Vallen Stark in the anime. These newly announced voice actors will join the already announced cast members, listed as follows:

In addition to the new cast members, the official staff for Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture also unveiled the illustrations of three Knightmare Frames that will be featured in the series. These Knightmare Frame mecha include the Type-07T Keisetsu, Type-05C Akatsuki Upgrade, and Type-07 Sekka.
Sunrise’s Yoshimitsu Ohashi is at the helm of the series, with script supervision by Noboru Kimura. Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura are responsible for character designs, using CLAMP’s original designs as a basis.
The Knightmare Frames were designed by Junichi Akutsu and the series’ music is composed by Kenji Kawai. The original story was created by Sunrise, Ichiro Okouchi, and Taniguchi.
In the seventh year of Kowa, the setting for Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture is a world under the control of the Neo-Britanninan Empire. Two brothers for hire, Ash and Rozé, rise up against the empire in an attempt to reclaim Emperor Sakuya.
