As anticipation builds for the upcoming release of chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, spoilers have already surfaced online. These revelations have introduced several exciting plot developments, particularly highlighting the return of the character Code. This antagonist had been absent since his escape from the Shinju incident at his hideout.

Fans speculated that Code’s comeback would lead to confrontations against the Otsutsukis, namely Boruto and Kawaki, or possibly the Shinju itself. However, to his dismay, Code once again found himself ridiculed, suffering humiliation at the hands of the Shinju.

Code: The Most Unfortunate Character in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Fans may recall that upon his introduction in Naruto, Gaara was portrayed as one of the strongest characters, capable of dispatching seasoned Shinobi. Yet, plot progression saw him being defeated by Rock Lee, Sasuke Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki.

In Naruto Shippuden, Gaara faced defeat at the hands of Deidara, culminating in his Shukaku extraction and subsequent death. Gaara also fell to Madara Uchiha and faced further defeat by Momoshiki during Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

In a similar fashion, Code has endured a consistent pattern of defeats as the primary antagonist in the Boruto manga. He not only lost confrontations with Boruto and Kawaki but also suffered defeat at the hands of Daemon in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

This trend continued in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, where he succumbed to Boruto’s Rasengan Uzuhiko. Furthermore, a flashback revealed that he lost an eye during an encounter with Sasuke Uchiha.

While attempting to gather intel on the sentient God Trees, he was detected by the new Shinju Ryu, who utilized Iron Sand against him. Additionally, even after being spared by Jura, Code’s ill-advised attack led to the loss of his right arm.

These recent events clearly establish Code as a target for other characters looking to demonstrate their strength in a seemingly harmless encounter within Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. It appears that Code has effectively inherited the trope of the punching bag from Gaara. Nevertheless, Gaara is not completely out of the picture, as he too faced a setback in the latest chapter.
