Former supporters of Cody Ko on YouTube are choosing to unsubscribe from his channels due to his lack of response to the accusations made against him by Tana Mongeau.
During the month of June, a video reappeared featuring content creator Tana Mongeau during a live episode of her ‘Cancelled’ podcast.
During this, she disclosed that she had engaged in a sexual encounter with YouTuber Cody Ko when she was underage, making their interaction at the time a violation of California state laws, as Cody Ko resides in that state.
In light of the accusations, Cody Ko’s primary YouTube channel, ‘Cody Ko’, has experienced a significant loss of 250K subscribers and his secondary account, ‘Kody & Co.’, has also seen a decrease of over 100K subscribers.
Despite still having a total of 8M subscribers, the YouTuber may continue to lose more of his following if he continues to not address Tana’s allegations after several weeks.

In addition to a significant decline in his fanbase, their opinions have also been shared on the way out.
“The Cody Ko allegations are difficult to hear. He provided me with laughter during some of my toughest moments, but now knowing he was actually a negative person… my heart goes out to Tana,”expressed a member of X on Twitter.
Another person on X stated that they have been following Cody Ko since 2018 and were just made aware of this disgusting situation.
Additionally, other content creators also shared their thoughts on the accusations, with some acknowledging that they were not impressed.
“During the live stream, Moistcr1tikal stated that 17 is less than 18 and therefore falls below the age of consent, making it a crime. He proceeded to explain this.”

“As a collaborator and longtime fan, it is deeply upsetting if the allegations are proven to be true. Podcaster and influencer Brittany Broski expressed her disappointment and concern on her Instagram, stating that she finds the situation disturbing and inappropriate.”
Despite continued calls from viewers for him to address Tana’s accusations, his former fans were disappointed to see him DJing at the Encore Beach Club in July.
Despite losing a considerable number of YouTube subscribers, Cody Ko continues to refrain from addressing the accusations made by Tana.
