College Football 25 August 19 Update Early Patch Notes: Scoreboard and Position Change Fixes

On August 19, a brand-new update was released for EA SPORTS College Football 25, addressing and resolving some of the most frustrating problems with the game. The following outlines all of the changes that have been made.

After a decade-long wait, College Football fans finally have a fresh game to enjoy. The highly anticipated EA SPORTS College Football 25 has attracted more than 1 million players back to their beloved campuses, although there have been some minor challenges along the way.

Ever since the game was first released, players have consistently faced issues in the two most popular modes of Dynasty and Road to Glory. Problems such as tackling, offensive line blocking, in-game Sim Logic, inability to recruit players, and others have caused frustration for fans and even led to ruined saves.

EA SPORTS has released patches to fix various issues, including a significant update on August 8. However, this update caused a few problems. When attempting to view your play before the snap, the scoreboard would completely disappear.

The August 19 update has brought about a change in the eligibility rules for incoming freshmen, specifically Athletes, who were previously not allowed to make position changes.

The latest patch, although small in size, has been released on consoles to fix these problems, including the bug that affected players’ playbooks and schemes.

  • Disappearing scoreboard bug fixed
  • Able to change freshman positions after recruiting
  • Scheme playbook glitch addressed
