College Football 25 offers a vast array of celebrations for first downs, interceptions, and touchdowns, including the notorious griddy dance move.
In College Football 25, players are not penalized for excessive celebration, allowing them to freely express themselves on the field. EA has ensured this by providing a variety of options for players to showcase their skills, including secret celebrations that are not explicitly listed in the settings.
In both the NFL and College Football, the griddy has become one of the most popular celebrations. It was first introduced by NFL star wide receiver Justin Jefferson in 2021 and has since become a widespread phenomenon in the sport.
College Football 25 honored Jefferson by incorporating his dance and naming it after his alma mater, Louisiana State University.
Gridding in College Football 25
To perform the griddy celebration in College Football 25, simply press L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox and flick the right stick upwards.
Instead of referring to the festivities as the griddy, EA opted to name it the Tiger Swag, in tribute to Justin Jefferson and his college team LSU, whose mascot is Mike the Tiger.
This dance can only be performed as a touchdown celebration and is not allowed after an interception or first down.
To further taunt their opponents, players can perform a celebratory run into the end zone by pressing LT, RT, and A on Xbox or L2, R2, and X on PlayStation before concluding with a Tiger Swag dance after scoring.
