Colombian Streamers Fall Victim to Alleged Drugging and Robbery During Live Broadcast
In a alarming incident, two Kick streamers, known as CaptainGee and CrisTravels, were reportedly robbed while livestreaming from Medellín, Colombia. The duo, engaged in an extensive 24/7 subathon, experienced a harrowing moment five days into their streaming marathon.
The Fateful Night
While returning home during the night, the streamers encountered two women, believed to be sex workers, and inquired about spending time with them for a fee of approximately 300,000 pesos (around $68). The streamers accepted the offer, not realizing the potential dangers ahead.
A Disturbing Turn of Events
Once back at their rental accommodation, one of the women, dressed in a striking red outfit, began to offer drinks to the streamers. Viewers later speculated that these drinks were a means to incapacitate CaptainGee and CrisTravels. Suspicion arose when CaptainGee voiced concerns about foul play, noting his discomfort as the scenario unfolded. He candidly stated to the audience, “I think they drugged me,”but fellow streamer CrisTravels remained skeptical.

Livestream Cut Short
As the situation escalated, the stream abruptly ended shortly thereafter. The last moments captured showcased one of the women approaching the camera, leaving viewers bewildered and concerned.
Aftermath and Rescue
Following the termination of the livestream, viewers were proactive in alerting the Airbnb host, who promptly contacted local authorities. Fortunately, both CaptainGee and CrisTravels were found in stable condition, albeit somewhat dazed by the events. The Airbnb host reassured everyone, stating, “They are awake, a little confused, but they are fine.” The host also confirmed that the police were on-site to pursue the alleged perpetrators.

Recovery and Return to Streaming
In the aftermath of the incident, it was revealed that the two streamers had their electronic devices stolen during the robbery. Despite the traumatic experience, both CaptainGee and CrisTravels returned to their Kick channels to share the story, streaming under the title “We got drugged and robbed in Medellín, Colombia.” In their follow-up, CrisTravels disclosed that his laptop and wallet were among the stolen items.
