Just a day after Asmongold faced a Twitch ban for his remarks about Palestine, several organizations including Starforge, OTK, and Mad Mushroom began severing their connections with the popular streamer.
During a livestream on October 14, he controversially stated that he wouldn’t “shed tears” for the victims in the area, attributing their situation to what he termed an “inferior culture.”
This statement swiftly drew criticism, leading Asmongold to extend an apology via a post on X. Subsequently, he received a 14-day suspension from Twitch.
On October 16, the streamer released another video reaffirming his apology, during which he announced his decision to step down from his leadership role within his Twitch organization, OTK.
In the wake of these events, OTK and various companies associated with Asmongold issued public announcements confirming his exit.
OTK Network addresses Asmongold’s remarks
OTK released a statement on X strongly condemning Asmongold’s “disgusting and abhorrent” comments regarding the people of Palestine.
“Recently, Zack (Asmongold) made comments that he himself described as disgusting and abhorrent. OTK categorically rejects all forms of discrimination and violence; such behavior is unacceptable,” the statement emphasized.
“We trust Zack will keep the commitments he has made to us, the community, and himself. Meanwhile, OTK will strive to maintain a welcoming and inclusive work atmosphere, dedicated to delivering exceptional livestreaming content for our viewers and partners.”
OTK’s announcement also noted that Asmongold would be distancing himself from its sister companies, which include Starforge, Mad Mushroom, and Mythic.

Mad Mushroom declares comments “antithetical” to its mission
In line with the responses of other companies, OTK’s indie game publishing branch, Mad Mushroom, also announced that they have severed ties with Asmongold.
“As an indie game publisher, our mission is to empower developers from diverse backgrounds to express their stories and passions through art. The opinions expressed by Asmongold on Monday contradict this mission. Therefore, Zack will be stepping down from his leadership position at Mad Mushroom to focus on self-improvement and accountability,” they stated.
