Although Minato is famed for his unparalleled speed, particularly utilizing the *Flying Thunder God Technique*, Naruto’s skills eventually surpass him.

Minato’s extraordinary speed primarily stems from his teleportation technique, which allows him to instantly appear at any location, granting him a distinct edge in battle. His natural speed is also commendable, yet it’s his teleportation that grants him the title of the fastest shinobi of his era.

In contrast, Naruto initially depended on his natural speed and the chakra from the Nine-Tails. Nevertheless, throughout the series, Naruto acquires new abilities that significantly elevate his speed.

After unlocking Baryon Mode, Naruto’s speed reaches extraordinary levels, allowing him to move at light speed, dodge attacks effortlessly, and match the pace of formidable opponents like Isshiki Ōtsutsuki.

In Baryon Mode, Naruto’s swiftness eclipses that of the Fourth Hokage. Isshiki, who previously outmaneuvered Naruto in his Six Paths Sage Mode while also avoiding Sasuke’s attacks, established a high-speed benchmark. Before activating Baryon Mode, Naruto struggled to keep up with Isshiki, who skillfully dodged Sasuke’s Chidori and reacted to Amenotejikara.

However, in Baryon Mode, Naruto’s reflexes and mobility are so heightened that he can counter the chakra rods Isshiki wields and overwhelm him with speed.

This demonstrates that Baryon Mode provides Naruto with the physical endurance to surpass even Isshiki’s incredible speed. Sasuke himself remarked on how challenging it was to perceive the speed of their combat, even with his Sharingan activated.

Naruto Uzumaki surpasses Minato Namikaze in speed thanks to the incredible enhancements provided by Baryon Mode. While Minato’s *Flying Thunder God Technique* allows for instantaneous teleportation, Naruto’s Baryon Mode grants him superior raw speed and reflexes, resulting in a greater overall agility than the Fourth Hokage possessed. This dramatic speed increase enables Naruto to blitz Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, who was previously much quicker than Naruto’s earlier forms.

This significant boost in speed not only positions Naruto above the Fourth Hokage but also highlights the tremendous potency of Baryon Mode in intense battles.
