The Touch of Malice is awarded as a random drop upon defeating Oryx and completing the King’s Fall raid. Players can obtain it on both Normal and Master difficulties, with a base drop rate of 5% (1 in 20), which can be enhanced through successful completion of raid challenges.

This Exotic weapon’s perks feature a unique mechanic where it inflicts additional damage by consuming the user’s health. Additionally, achieving precision kills restores health to mitigate the damage taken. A precise hit charges a powerful ball of Darkness that can be unleashed to damage and Blind nearby enemies.

The Rapid Hit catalyst further amplifies its effectiveness by boosting stability and reload speed with successive precision shots, synergizing seamlessly with the Charged with Blight perk which also relies on precision damage acquisition. To unlock this catalyst, players must navigate a series of puzzles within the King’s Fall raid.

Players can acquire three unique armor sets within King’s Fall, with each class represented by distinct designs: Darkhollow for Hunters, War Numen’s for Titans, and Wormlore for Warlocks.

Challenges

Each encounter within King’s Fall comes with an associated optional challenge. Completing these challenges rewards players with additional weapons or armor pieces. Notably, those who tackle challenges on Master difficulty can earn Adept weapons bearing the coveted ‘Harrowed’ suffix.

When King’s Fall is highlighted as the featured raid, all associated challenges will be active. In other weeks, challenges rotate weekly. Below is the list of challenges available for this raid:

The Grass is Always Greener	No Fireteam member can take the same buff twice in a row during the Totems encounter.
Devious Thievery	Members must steal the Aura of the Initiate from the Taken Knight within five seconds after collecting the Brand Claimer orb during the Warpriest encounter.
Gaze Amaze	All Fireteam members must stand in the Pool of Unclaimed Light while trading Golgoroth’s gaze.
Under Construction	A different plate must be used for each damage phase during the Daughters of Oryx encounter.
Hands Off	Each Fireteam member must eliminate a different Ogre during each damage cycle in the final encounter.

Exotic Cosmetic Items

In addition to powerful gear, King’s Fall introduces two exclusive Exotic cosmetics: Ossein Earthcarver sparrow and Ossified Skycarver ship.

Is King’s Fall Loot Farmable?

Usually, players can only receive one item per character from this raid each week, restricting continuous farming for specific rolls. However, when King’s Fall is highlighted as the featured raid, this cap is lifted, allowing for a faster hunt for desirable god rolls and craftable weapons.
