EA FC 25 debuts 14 new Heroes and eight additional ICONS, further enhancing its already impressive roster of legends. Here’s the complete list of newcomers.
The Rush mode in FC 25 offers players a unique opportunity to utilize their favorite Heroes and ICONS, allowing them to take one card into 5v5 matches.
Moreover, the forthcoming title will introduce ICONS into Career mode, enabling players to see how these legends would perform in today’s game.

A hero for both club and country, Tim Howard is acknowledged as one of the finest American soccer players of all time. He led the Toffees to a memorable FA Cup victory and boasts the record for most caps as a goalkeeper for the United States men’s national team, with 121 appearances.
During his exceptional six-year tenure at Inter Milan, Maicon became one of the top right-backs globally, making him a must-have card in Ultimate Team.
Jamie Carragher realized every soccer admirer’s dream, amassing over 700 appearances for his beloved Liverpool, capping his achievements with a UEFA Champions League title.
Celia Sasic, who ended her career with a Golden Boot at the 2015 World Cup, is recognized as one of the greatest goal scorers in German football history and is celebrated for her game-winning goal that secured a Women’s Champions League title for Frankfurt.

Gianluigi Buffon (91 overall)
After an illustrious three-decade career, Buffon has secured his legacy as one of the greatest goalkeepers in history. The legendary Italian shot-stopper holds the record for the most appearances in Serie A and is among a select few players who have surpassed 1,100 professional matches.
Buffon’s accolades include 10 Serie A titles, one World Cup title (2006), and 10 Goalkeeper of the Season awards.
Gareth Bale (88 overall)
Renowned for his spectacular goals, explosive speed, and dribbling skills, Bale remains a legendary winger despite a less-than-stellar finale to his career. He first rose to prominence at Tottenham, achieving peak performance in 2012-13 by winning the Player of the Season award before joining Real Madrid, where he captured five UEFA Champions League titles.
He concluded his career as Wales’ most capped player and top scorer.
Nadine Angerer (92 overall)
Goalkeeper Nadine Angerer showcased her talents in the Frauen-Bundesliga while with Turbine Potsdam. She was Germany’s starting goalkeeper at the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup and gained fame for not conceding a single goal throughout the tournament, including a penalty in the final against Brazil.
Angerer clinched the UEFA Women’s EURO title in 2013 and became the first goalkeeper, male or female, to be honored as FIFA World Player of the Year.
Julie Foudy (90 overall)

Aya Miyama (90 overall)
In an era dominated by the US Women’s national team, Miyama was part of the squad that defeated the US in the 2011 World Cup and had a remarkable career in Japan’s women’s professional soccer league.
Lotta Schelin (90 overall)
Schelin is Sweden’s all-time leading goal scorer with 88 goals in 185 caps. Impressively, she found the back of the net 143 times in 138 appearances for Lyon, and scored 92 goals in 123 appearances for Goteborg. She also boasts three UEFA Women’s Champions League titles with Olympique Lyonnais and eight league championships. Schelin is anticipated to be one of the top ICONS in the game.
Lillian Thuram (90 overall)
While fans may recognize Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram, his father, Lillian Thuram, is a legendary player in his own right. Thuram was pivotal in leading France to victory in the 1998 World Cup and also won EURO 2000.
His accolades include the 1998-99 UEFA Cup with Parma, two Serie A titles with Juventus, and reaching the finals of the 2006 World Cup. He retired as the most capped player in French soccer history.
