The Festive Revelry event features 24 intriguing puzzles, each offering amazing rewards. If you’re facing challenges with any of these puzzles, you’ll find all the solutions outlined below.
HSR Festive Revelry Puzzle Solutions
These puzzles have been featured in Honkai Star Rail before, but if you missed them or need a refresher, they can still present a significant challenge. Below are the solutions along with videos for each puzzle type and difficulty level.
Hexanexus Easy Mode
The Hexanexus puzzles consist of 3D challenges that require you to manipulate and rotate pieces to form two separate 2D shapes. There are three Hexanexus puzzles available in easy mode.
Puzzle 1
This is the simplest puzzle, primarily designed to teach you the mechanics. Rotate the boxes until the only solid box is positioned in the bottom left corner.
Puzzle 2
To solve this one, align all three boxes correctly at the back. The left side should form a right angle, while only two boxes should be placed on the back right.
Puzzle 3
Start by rotating the top piece, then the back, followed by the left side to finish this puzzle in three steps. You can consolidate all four boxes together to make a solid piece, then rotate it to resemble a staircase.
Hexanexus Hard Mode
The subsequent puzzles are harder versions of the Hexanexus challenges from the previous section. Three additional puzzles can be completed for significant rewards.
Puzzle 1
For this puzzle, ensure that the diamond-patterned side of one box aligns with that of the adjacent box on the left. Rotate the box around to the opposite side, then down to the top right at the back.
Puzzle 2
You will find two boxes on either side, but only three blocks to use. Place one box in the back center, then add a box on each side, ensuring that the patterns align when positioning each box.
Puzzle 3
Both the upper right and upper left boxes have a pattern that needs to align. Rotate the box with the two diamonds so it matches those two boxes, then adjust the bottom box to position it in the back right corner.
Hexanexus Remake Easy Mode
The Hexanexus Remake puzzles are similar to the original Hexanexus puzzles, but incorporate additional boxes for aligning the patterns. The game indicates how many boxes remain available in the upper right corner, and your task is to complete the patterns using the available pieces.
Puzzle 1
You have four boxes to properly construct the patterns. Start by placing a single box above the two-box line in the back corner. Then, add one box to the left and two boxes to the right of the first box to complete the design.
Puzzle 2
To complete this puzzle with the four cubes, form a Tetris-like L-shape at the back right corner, reaching upwards and toward the center.
Puzzle 3
Add one box to the middle bottom of the right side where there are two stacked boxes. Next, add another box to the two-pile and finally place one on the top middle to the left of the configured boxes.
Hexanexus Remake Hard Mode
Next are even more challenging Hexanexus Remake puzzles. You will face these puzzles with minimal blocks available for clever arrangement to achieve success.
Puzzle 1
With only two boxes at your disposal, position them in the back centers of either side of the puzzle for the solution.
Puzzle 2
Utilize five boxes by laying them in the middle-right, the center, and the middle right on the right side, concluding by putting another box above the center to the left.
Puzzle 3
On the center row of boxes at the bottom, place a box in the very center, then add one directly above and to the right to complete the arrangement.
Inventory Arrangement Easy Mode
Inventory Arrangement puzzles challenge you to correctly stack items for shipping. Certain items can be placed only on top of green lights, while others can go only on yellow lights, so make sure each item is positioned properly. These puzzles do provide hints, distinguishing them from previous types.
Puzzle 1
Begin by placing the three two-slot boxes first, followed by the single three-long box on top. Finally, arrange the three vases in the remaining spaces.
Puzzle 2
Place the two short boxes at the bottom, then set the two rugs on top. The single green box should go to the left of the rugs, with the two flower pots placed on the rugs to finish the arrangement.
Puzzle 3
First, position the large statue in the upper left corner. Next, arrange the two long-and-short yellow tables to its right, followed by placing the four flower pots on top of the yellow tables. Lastly, lay the two green boxes at the bottom, stacking the one-green boxes on top of those, side by side.
Inventory Arrangement Hard Mode
Next is the hard mode for the Inventory Arrangement puzzles. You will need to strategically pack the shipping containers to maximize space.
Puzzle 1
For this puzzle, start by laying down eight two-green boxes. Place the globes on four of the boxes, while adding rugs on the remaining four. Position the last two green boxes on top of the rugs, followed by placing rugs on top of those, finally adding the two one-green boxes on the uppermost rugs.
Puzzle 2
Position the two large statues on either side of the upper squares of the puzzle, then lay down all four rugs, making sure to expose the middle bottom two yellow lights. Place yellow rugs on top and populate all the rugs with decorative shelves.
Puzzle 3
Align three large statues in a row, then place the fourth statue on the bottom, rotated. Next to the rotated statue, position the pallet, followed by the rugs, and finally the bench on top.
Mutare Magnus Easy Mode
Mutare Magnus puzzles challenge players to move connected stakes via attached strings to recreate a given pattern. There are three easier puzzles in this category, with subsequent challenges proving more difficult.
Puzzle 1
To complete this puzzle, switch the positions of the top two stakes, then move the bottom two stakes up one slot.
Puzzle 2
Begin by moving the top-left stake to the center, shift the center stake to the left, and finally take that stake and move it up to fill the top slot.
Puzzle 3
This puzzle is quite challenging, so below is the sequence to achieve the correct pattern:
- Swap the top right stake with the bottom-most stake on the right.
- Next, switch the one from the top right with the one directly left of it.
- Move the stake you are holding to the bottom left.
- Shift the top left stake to the right.
- Finally, move the middle left stake to the bottom right.
Change to Big Hard Mode
The final three puzzles echo the structure of the previous Mutare Magnus challenges, requiring you to move stakes to match the designated pattern. Don’t stress about completing the puzzles in fewer moves; just ensure all elements are properly arranged.
Puzzle 1
Start with the central stake and place it where the left-side stakes currently reside. Then, exchange the two stakes on the right with each other.
Puzzle 2
Switch the left-middle stake into the top right position, and then swap the bottom right stake with the top left stake.
Puzzle 3
Begin by taking the upper left stake and positioning it on the lower right stake slot. From there, place the stake you were holding into the empty top left space. Swap the two bottom stakes, and lastly shift the upper right stake to the lower left.
