Unlocking the Fungal and Magma Rods
The Fungal Rod isn’t available for purchase from any shop, but rather requires you to complete the Alligator quest. Begin by visiting the Mushgrove Swamp island and locating the Agaric NPC, who can be found sitting under a mushroom near the shore. He’ll explain that an alligator has caused him grief by eating his family and is seeking revenge.
To assist him, you need to catch an alligator, which can be found in the nearby pond. For this task, using the Steady Rod is advisable due to their considerable weight. Once captured, return to the Agaric NPC who will reward you with the Fungal Rod.
To acquire the Magma Rod, proceed to Roslit Bay Island and engage with the Orc NPC located near the Roslit Volcano. He will ask you to retrieve a Pufferfish from the ocean. To enhance your chances during this process, consider using Seaweed bait, which offers a 35 luck boost and is purchasable for 200 Credits at Moosewood. After successfully capturing a Pufferfish, simply deliver it to the Orc NPC for your reward: the Magma Rod.
How to Obtain the Executive Rod in Fisch?
