Fortnite has officially introduced its highly anticipated OG game mode, marking the return of the legendary Battle Royale experience from Chapter 1 Season 1 in 2024. Players can dive back into the nostalgia with the original map, a classic loot pool featuring fan-favorites such as the Double Pump Shotgun, and a new OG pass that reimagines some of the beloved characters from the past.
To enhance gameplay, Epic Games has incorporated a variety of themed quests that players can engage with in both Zero Build and Build-enabled lobbies. The revamped XP system enables players to progress in their Battle Pass through any mode, allowing the completion of these OG quests to contribute toward leveling up the Chapter 6 Battle Pass as well.

Side A Challenges
- Discover all named locations (13) – 20,000 XP
- Inflict damage on opponents within a 10-meter range using shotguns (750) – 20,000 XP
- Strike an opponent with a Ceiling Zapper, Wall Dynamo, or Damage Trap (1) – 20,000 XP
- Destroy structures or objects using explosives (25) – 20,000 XP
- Dance near fish trophies in three different locations – 20,000 XP
- Trigger car alarms from various vehicles (3) – 20,000 XP
- Wade in water at Loot Lake or Moisty Mire (20) – 20,000 XP
- Eliminate opponents from a distance of 50 meters with a Sniper Rifle (3) – 20,000 XP
- Eliminate opponents using common or uncommon weapons (5) – 20,000 XP
- Collect Epic or higher rarity weapons (3) – 20,000 XP

Expiration of Fortnite OG Quests
The quests for Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 1 will remain active until January 31, 2025, at 2 AM ET. During this time, Epic will initiate downtime to pave the way for an upcoming patch, which is expected to introduce a new season to this classic mode.
According to recent leaks, Fortnite OG is designed to encompass all of the Chapter 1 seasons, each lasting one month, providing players with an opportunity to relive the essence of classic Fortnite once again.
