How to Control a Choppa Helicopter in Fortnite

Mastering the Choppa is essential for an effective strategy in Fortnite battles. Once you’re inside the helicopter, here’s how to navigate:

To gain altitude, press the ‘shoot’ button (R2 on PS5). To descend, use the ‘aim’ button (L2 on PS5). Moving is straightforward—you simply employ your regular walking controls. Additionally, you can execute a short boost using the ‘build’ button (Circle on PS5).

If you need to exit the Choppa, press the reload/interact button (Square on PS5). However, it is advisable to avoid doing this while airborne. While the Choppa lacks inherent weaponry, you can switch seats to access your firearms, but ensure someone remains in the driver’s seat; otherwise, the helicopter will land automatically.

Monitor the fuel gauge displayed on the screen, as running out of fuel is not the same as with a car. If the Choppa runs out of gas, it will crash, so plan your fuel usage wisely.
