In Fortnite Chapter 6, players are on a quest to locate the elusive Giant Turtle, a recent addition to the game. This creature made its debut at the beginning of Season 1, and players can find it by exploring the wooded area situated between Whiffy Warf and Lost Lake.
However, due to a new quest, the Giant Turtle has moved to one of seven different spawn locations, making it essential for players to know where to search at the start of each match. Successfully finding and climbing atop this gentle giant rewards players with a significant leap in experience points, granting a remarkable 80,000 XP—enough to elevate them a full level.
Giant Turtle Spawn Locations in Fortnite Chapter 6
The quest entitled “The Great Turtle” was introduced during Fortnite Chapter 6 on December 18. Players are given a timeframe of six weeks to complete the quest and reap the rewards of 80,000 XP.
While the Giant Turtle does not appear on the in-game map, players can spot it relatively easily when dropping from the Battle Bus. Completing The Great Turtle Quest in Fortnite
To kick off “The Great Turtle” quest, players need to ascend to the Turtle’s back and engage with an NPC known as Ryuji. This character is on a mission to aid the turtle, whose solitude and darkness require resolution.
After the initial dialogue, five red and Dark Magic Thorns will emerge from the Giant Turtle’s shell. Players must use their pickaxes to eliminate each thorn and return to Ryuji to collect rewards nestled inside a legendary chest.
