Keeper’s Shrines are easily identifiable while exploring the diverse regions of Black Myth Wukong, as they appear as a small shrine with swirling incense smoke. A shimmering Incense Trail will guide you to the nearest unactivated shrine.

To activate a new Keeper’s Shrine, simply approach and interact with it to light the incense. After a short cutscene, the Keeper’s Shrine submenu will appear, revealing the available options at these locations.

Keeper’s Shrines serve as crucial rest points throughout the game. Once you’ve unlocked at least two of them, they become a means of fast travel without any cost. Since navigating the world map isn’t feasible, unlocking as many shrines as possible is vital for your journey.

You can utilize Keeper’s Shrines for the following actions:

  • Rest – Fully restores your health and mana, and refills your Gourd, however, resting also respawns any nearby enemies.
  • Travel – Access a sub-menu displaying all other unlocked Keeper’s Shrine locations for fast travel at no cost.
  • Self-Advance – Organize your Spells, reset Spark points, and enhance Spirits using Will points.
  • Store – Purchase a variety of items including useful tonics and crafting materials, and sell gold items for extra Will points.
  • Craft – Create new pieces of armor and weaponry as they become available.
  • Brew – Craft beneficial brews for your Gourd to enhance health regeneration.
  • Make Medicines – Use gathered plant ingredients to create medicines that provide significant buffs for combat.
  • Retrieve Spirits – Collect lost spirits left behind after defeating yaoguai, provided there are spirits to retrieve.
