Complete Guide to All Robot Part Locations in Remnant 2: The Dark Horizon

In the Remnant 2 DLC, one of the initial quests you encounter involves repairing a damaged robot that requires your assistance. To complete this quest, you’ll need to locate a repair station as well as gather the scattered Robot Parts throughout the expansive map of N’Erud. This guide will provide detailed information on how to locate the Repair Station and all four Robot Parts, along with the results of finishing this quest.

Locations of All Robot Parts

You will begin this quest right after watching the introductory cutscene for the DLC. Let’s explore the locations of all four Robot Parts:

Prototype Robot Head: This part can be found on the ground immediately after watching the first cutscene of The Dark Horizon DLC.

Prototype Robot Arm: Continue forward until you reach the first open area with enemies. Progress towards the rightmost corner where you’ll notice blue spectral wires and a spectral enemy. The Robot Arm will be located here.

Prototype Robot Claw: Move towards the next area, Withered Necropolis. After passing the first checkpoint, you will encounter a large bridge. Head to the leftmost side of this bridge to find the Robot Claw.

Prototype Memory Core: The final component can be discovered on the opposite side of the bridge. Rather than crossing over entirely, drop down on the left side where you see the first glider platform. You’ll find a crevice beneath it on the right side where the Memory Core is located.

These are the locations for all four Robot Parts needed for this quest. Next, let’s find the Robot Repair lab.

Repairing the Core

If you attempt to repair the robot without fixing the Memory Core, it will attack you immediately and trigger a boss fight. However, you can avoid this outcome and achieve a favorable ending. Open your inventory and inspect the Memory Core; you’ll discover a switch on its back that can be flipped to repair it. Doing this allows you to bypass the boss fight and grants you the reward and achievement titled ‘B.O.T’. Be aware, though, that this means you will miss the Mutator reward from the boss fight.

Location of the Repair Lab

If you’ve explored the Agronomic Sector, you may have already found this lab. If not, it’s relatively easy to spot from the Withered Necropolis area. Return to the bridge where you discovered the Claw and Memory Core; there you will see a shiny yellow door on the opposite side of the bridge leading to a different area. This door will guide you directly to the Repair Lab located in the Agronomic Sector.

Now, you can proceed to repair and reconstruct the robot, listening to an audio log that reveals the backstory of another robot in the area that is in search of life.

If you simply complete the robot repair without interacting with the Memory Core, you will initiate The Prototype boss fight where you must defeat the Robot, now transformed into a boss. This fight is fairly standard, and successfully completing it will provide you with a Mutator and a ring that grants shields for using Mods that require more than 100 Mod power.
