The latest patch 0.16.0 for Escape from Tarkov has introduced an exciting new feature: secret exfils. These hidden extraction points require players to locate specific items within the same raid to activate. After securing these crucial items, players must then determine the location of the secret exfil on the map to successfully extract. Below is a comprehensive guide detailing all secret exfil locations across various maps in Escape from Tarkov.
Comprehensive Guide to Secret Exfil Locations
To enable a secret exfil, players must discover a corresponding note, code, or map during their raid. These items can be found in diverse loot sources, with filing cabinets and dead body spawns being the most common locations. Additionally, Scavs may also carry these codes.
Different maps may yield various secret extraction items. For instance, in maps like Lighthouse, Reserve, or Woods, players will uncover a “Minefield map” that hints at the extraction point’s location. Conversely, in maps such as Ground Zero or Streets of Tarkov, players will find a ripped piece of paper bearing a code, essential for accessing the secret exfil at designated points.
It is worth noting that these secret exfil codes and maps cannot be taken outside the raid; they will vanish if removed.
Ground Zero
Tartowers Sales Office
Located at the base of Ground Zero, near the transit area to the Streets of Tarkov, the Tartowers Sales Office is a compact building featuring a prominent counter. Players must access the area behind the counter and input the code to extract safely.
Streets of Tarkov
Smuggler’s Basement
Familiar to many Scav players, the Smuggler’s Basement serves as a previous extraction point on the Streets of Tarkov. It can be found in the residential area close to two PMC spawn locations and the Skybridge building, making it a high-traffic area due to the valuable loot nearby.
Factory
The secret extraction point in the Factory can be accessed through the old factory door located beneath the forklift area, previously known as the Cellars. Enter through the now-unlocked door, head left down the hallway leading to a spacious room, and look for the metal door on the left to input your code.
Shoreline
Mountain Bunker
Originally an extraction spot in Escape from Tarkov, the Mountain Bunker has been reintroduced as a secret exfil with the Shoreline expansion in patch 0.16. This location is situated between Climber’s Trail and the North V-Ex extraction points, offering a clear view of the resort’s east wing.
Woods
Railway Bridge to Tarkov
The Railway Bridge extraction offers a unique twist among the secret exit strategies. Players must utilize the BTR to reach the Train Depot, where a fee in Roubles is required. From there, navigate to the train tracks and proceed to the back corner behind the wall to use the code for extraction. Keep in mind that the surrounding area is heavily mined, necessitating the BTR for safe passage.
Customs
Smuggler’s Boat
Previously an extraction point with potential availability, the Smuggler’s Boat has transitioned into a secret exfil that requires finding the necessary code. If the campfire near the extraction point is lit, the extraction is available. This boat is positioned near the land bridge that connects the Tarcone warehouse to the dormitory area, adjacent to the Sniper’s Roadblock.

Current speculation suggests the potential location of the secret exfil might be along the coast, possibly at the previous Scav extraction point known as Grotto. Additionally, players have reported discovering a secret exfil key through the elimination of Rogues.
