In the expansive world of Avowed, each of the four distinct regions is home to a powerful artifact known as the Totem of Revelations. These totems bestow valuable passive bonuses upon activation, but first, players must locate and assemble various scattered pieces throughout the land. This guide will provide detailed locations for all the components of the Totem of Revelations.
Locating the Totem of Revelations Pieces
In total, players can discover seven pieces of the Totem of Revelations within the area known as Shatterscarp. Players can purchase notes with hints about each piece from the bartender in Thirdborn, although it is possible to gather these fragments in any sequence without utilizing these notes.
Once all seven pieces have been collected, you must assemble them at a Party Camp, specifically on the rock positioned next to the fire. Completing this task will unlock all associated passive bonuses. Below are the precise locations for each piece:
1. Totem Base
The Totem Base is found at the Shrine to Wael, positioned in the southwestern part of Scatterscarp. This piece is hidden within a cave system filled with towering mountains. Enter via the path located on the northwestern side of the area.
Descend along the platform path until you reach an entrance to a pink cave. Proceed straight through the cave until you arrive at a large chamber housing the Totem Base on an altar.
2. Ruby Eye
Remain inside the Shrine to Wael cave as you search for the Ruby Eye, which is located nearby. From the Totem Base altar, head towards the opposite wall where pink rock streaks reveal another tunnel entrance. Traverse through this opening to encounter an NPC standing over the Ruby Eye.
This character is identified as the Ward of the Eye. You have the option to engage in dialogue and ask for the Ruby Eye or simply pick it up from the ground; either approach will yield the same result.
3. Amethyst Eye
For the Amethyst Eye, journey to the Ancient Lakebed, found just northwest of Thirdborn City. Approach the mid-sized lake indicated on your map and navigate to the eastern side beneath the rocky overhang. Eventually, you will discover a small gravestone with the Amethyst Eye resting nearby.
4. Topaz Eye
To find the Topaz Eye, head to Leviathan’s Hollow in the northwestern corner of the Deadfall Highlands. Explore the area until you spot a large cave entrance resembling a skull—it should be easy to find.
Dive underwater and navigate through to a spacious chamber. Dispatch any enemies within and climb the crates located on the left side to reach the next level. Once upstairs, turn left to find a dim hallway illuminated with green light. This corridor leads directly to the Topaz Eye, which is positioned on a table above a fallen foe.
5. Emerald Eye
The Emerald Eye can be found at Shark’s Teeth in northeastern Scatterscarp. At the heart of this region, a Party Camp can be identified. Adjacent to the large Adra at this camp, look towards the southern path leading to a tall structure of scaffolding. Ascend this scaffolding to find the Emerald Eye resting at the pinnacle.
6. Agate Eye
You can locate the Agate Eye at the Sand Sea Ruins, situated in the eastern section of Scatterscarp, south of Shark’s Teeth. Enter the ruins from the northern entrance and navigate around until you come upon a circular edifice.
Inside, you will find a hole in the circular structure; drop down carefully to the second level instead of the bottom floor. The Agate Eye will be concealed within a chamber on this second level.
7. Sapphire Eye
The final piece, the Sapphire Eye, is located at the Sand Sea Oasis, just south of the Sand Sea Ruins. Here you will find a small pond, and the Sapphire Eye will be positioned at the very bottom. To retrieve it, dive underwater quickly to secure the eye.
