Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown features an extensive collection of cars available for purchase to enhance your garage. The game also includes a unique Easter Egg known as secret car wrecks, which act as a treasure hunt challenge. By collecting all the wreck pieces, players can unlock two secret cars to expand their collection.
How to unlock all secret cars in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown
Hong Island in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is divided into 14 districts. While most districts contain two secret car wrecks, some have just one or even three. Below is an alphabetical list of districts along with the specific locations of the secret cars. Collecting 14 wrecks each for the classic and off-road cars will unlock them permanently.
Aberdeen (3 Wrecks)
Aberdeen Wreck #1 location
A secret off-road car wreck can be found at the Aberdeen East Gas Station at the location shown above.
Note: Use the proximity alarm above the minimap to locate the wrecks. The beeping sound intensifies as you near the cars.
Aberdeen Wreck #2 location
- Follow the unmarked path opposite the tower as indicated in the first image.
- The wreck will be located on the left side of the beach.
Aberdeen Wreck #3 location
- At the marked location, you’ll encounter an off-road track that goes through a sewer pipe.
- Continue on this path and you’ll find the car above a small water pool (see second image).
Causeway Bay (2 Wrecks)
Causeway Bay Wreck #1 location
Look for the scissor lift under the two overpasses to find a secret car wreck behind it.
Causeway Bay Wreck #2 location
- Head to the peripheral road around the Solar Crown tower and look for a gate leading down an unmarked path.
- The wreck will be on the small island replica shown in the second image.
Central District (1 Wreck)
I’ve located the exact position of the wreck on the map above. To access it, enter the sidewalk from the area in the second image. Drive straight down the lane toward the Ferris wheel in the distance, where you’ll discover the wreck (see third image for details).
Chai Wan (2 Wrecks)
Chai Wan Wreck #1 location
This wreck is located near the Street HQ, where the shipping containers are kept. Drive through the open container marked above to access the secret classic car wreck.
Chai Wan Wreck #2 location
- Proceed to the marked location and you’ll come to a gated community. Navigate through the obstacles indicated in the first image.
- Continue straight down the lane to the end and then turn right.
- Collect the secret off-road car wreck from that point.
Happy Valley (2 Wrecks)
Happy Valley Wreck #1 location
- Enter the area next to the marked racing track from the first image.
- Retrieve the wreck located under the designated shed.
Happy Valley Wreck #2 location
The second wreck is found next to the Happy Valley North Gas Station at the indicated location.
Pok Fu Lam (2 Wrecks)
Pok Fu Lam Wreck #1 location
- At the location indicated in the image above, turn left and drive into the bushes to uncover a new path.
- Follow this track to find the wreck you’re looking for (see second image).
Pok Fu Lam Wreck #2 location
- A small opening next to the highway is visible as shown in the first picture.
- Drive down the stairs, turn left, and you will reach a mansion where the car wreck is located.
Quarry Bay (2 Wrecks)
Quarry Bay Wreck #1 location
- Locating the first wreck can be tricky since the entrance is distant from where the proximity alert starts beeping. The entrance to the beach area is marked on the map image above.
- Access the beach through the barricaded entrance (second image).
- Go to the construction site where the wreck is located in the area highlighted in the third picture.
Quarry Bay Wreck #2 location
- Reach the shown location and enter the compound featuring the ship replica.
- Turn left to find and collect the classic car wreck.
Repulse Bay (2 Wrecks)
Repulse Bay Wreck #1 location
- Drive through the marked gates onto the beach.
- Continue slightly ahead towards the watch tower and you will spot the car on the indicated platform (second image).
Repulse Bay Wreck #2 location
- The second wreck appears to be out of bounds but is quite accessible. Enter the golf course by driving through the barrier indicated in the first image.
- Follow the track until it appears on your minimap. Drive to the end and collect the car wreck.
Shek O (2 Wrecks)
Shek O Wreck #1 location
- At the intersection, turn left onto the unpaved path which leads to the island in the sea.
- This path will appear on your minimap, so keep following it until you reach the wreck.
Shek O Wreck #2 location
- At the same intersection, look for the Hong Kong Island Country Park gate (as shown in the first picture). Enter the park, and the dotted lines indicating the path will show on your map.
- Cross the bridge, turn left, and reach the marked location (as seen in the second image) to gather the wreck.
Stanley (2 Wrecks)
Stanley Wreck #1 location
Enter the marked compound and retrieve the car wreck from the corner.
Stanley Wreck #2 location
- For the second wreck, uncover a hidden path by reaching the location shown in the image above and driving through the forest.
- Follow the left path, leading to a housing facility, and grab the car wreck from the garage noted in the second image.
Tai Tam (2 Wrecks)
Tai Tam Wreck #1 location
- Go to the designated point on the map above.
- Choose the left path (second image).
- Continue along the track until you discover the wreck.
Tai Tam Wreck #2 location
- Tai Tam is a vast district, and the second wreck is situated far from the first. Proceed to the Tai Tam Water Dam speed track shown on the map.
- Drive through the small opening on the right (second image) and drop to the dam’s base.
- Follow the unpaved path shown in the third image to locate the car blueprint.
Victoria Peak (1 Wreck)
Victoria Peak has just one car wreck that is relatively easy to find. Head to the Plantation Road speed trap marked on the map and enter the compound depicted in the second image. Turn left to discover the wreck adjacent to the crane at the construction site.
Wan Chai (2 Wrecks)
Wan Chai Wreck #1 location
- Visit the marked block, where you’ll find a construction site (first image).
- Drive over the small platform bridge and look for the wreck in the corner.
Wan Chai Wreck #2 location
- Access the compound shown in the first image by driving through the fence.
- Turn left, then follow the path to the right (see second image).
- The wreck will be behind two parked trucks on your left (indicated in the third image).
Western District (3 Wrecks)
Western District Wreck #1 location
Drive down the indicated ramp and collect the car wreck from under the building (see second image).
Western District Wreck #2 location
Access the Shun Tak Centre building parking lot and navigate to the right section to discover the wreck.
Western District Wreck #3 location
- Enter the port via the Western District North Gas Station (see first image above).
- Turn right to enter the hangers and reach the docks’ far side (second and third images).
- Drive straight until you reach the end of the road to collect the final car wreck.
Secret Car Rewards – Classic and Off-Road
By collecting all 14 parts of the secret classic car, you will unlock the Mercedez-Benz 300 SL (1954). Likewise, obtaining the 14 wrecks for the secret off-road car will reward you with the Volkswagen Beetle Buggy (1972). These cars are considered collector’s items, so they may not perform competitively in races even with upgrades.
