All Medallions in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
Players can obtain two types of Boss Medallions in this season: the Unstoppable Medallion and the Super Shield Medallion. The Unstoppable Medallion is acquired by defeating Fletcher Kane, the Island’s mob boss, while the Super Shield Medallion has been available for some time, dropped by the demon warrior Shogun X. Follow the steps below to defeat these bosses and claim their Medallions.
How to Obtain the Unstoppable Medallion – Defeating Fletcher Kane “the Wolf”

Start by locating the vault marked with the wolf icon on your map (as shown in the image above).Every match features five set vaults located at Masked Meadows, Crime City, Lonewolf Lair, Seaport City, and Armored Train. Head to the vault denoted by the wolf icon where Fletcher Kane will appear. Be aware, as this location tends to attract other players eager for loot.
Search the environment for Thermite, typically found within chests or bags. Enter the vault and apply the Thermite to the vault door to initiate the opening process (refer to the second image). You can expedite the cracking of the vault by shooting its weak points using a Plasma Burst Laser, which is particularly effective for this task.
As the Thermite operates on the door, waves of NPC enemies will descend to attack you. Fortunately, these henchmen can be dispatched easily, but remain vigilant for other players lurking nearby. Eventually, Fletcher Kane will emerge from the vault. To defeat him, consider the following tips:
- Fletcher Kane possesses a substantial HP pool, allowing him to absorb significant damage. Maintain your distance and use ranged weapons like ARs or SMGs to chip away at his health.
- While dealing with Kane, his henchmen will also engage you, but they should not pose a significant threat.
- Be aware of an additional armored boss that spawns with Fletcher Kane—address this threat promptly.
- When Kane loses his shield, he becomes enraged and will charge at you. Switch to your shotgun to deal significant damage before he can strike.

Upon defeating Fletcher Kane, he will drop loot, including the Unstoppable Medallion and the Double Down Pistol. The Unstoppable Medallion offers a sprint speed boost and grants you the ability to knock back enemies on impact. Additionally, Kane’s Double Down Pistol is a legendary hand cannon that delivers devastating damage with its two shots.

To maximize the Unstoppable Medallion’s advantages, consider equipping The Kneecapper melee weapon. This weapon reduces sprinting’s energy cost while enhancing speed and jump distance. When combined with the Medallion, you can achieve a significant speed boost, allowing for rapid movement across the battlefield. Note, however, that using Medallions renders you visible on opponents’ mini-maps, which can pose risks in high-stakes situations.
How to Obtain the Super Shield Medallion in Fortnite
The second Medallion available in Chapter 6 Season 2 is the Super Shield Medallion, which drops from the tanky boss Shogun X. Whether you’re familiar with him from previous seasons or not, the following details will guide you in finding and defeating this formidable opponent.
To summon Shogun X, you must survive in the match for a substantial period. This boss materializes in a random location mid-game via a portal, identifiable by a red rift tear marker on your map (refer to the image above). You’ll receive a notification on your screen when he spawns, and the marker will later evolve into a cluster of islands, as depicted in the second image.

Once you reach the area, locate an airlift beneath the floating islands (as shown above). This airlift serves as a jump pad, propelling you upwards. Gain sufficient altitude, then deploy your umbrella to land safely on the chunk of rock where Shogun X is positioned.

Engaging in battle with Shogun X will present a greater challenge than Fletcher Kane due to his massive health bar and potent attack moves. Here are essential tips to succeed against this demon boss:
- Begin by targeting the boss’s head for critical damage. Ensure you collect powerful legendary weapons and ample ammo during the early game.
- Keep mobile and avoid his line of fire, utilizing cover to dodge the fiery skulls he launches at you.
- Shogun X frequently uses teleportation, which enables him to appear close to you unexpectedly.
- If he gets within striking distance, evade his katana attacks. Equip The Kneecapper melee weapon for a sprint speed and jump distance boost that aids in your escape.

After defeating Shogun X, you’ll be able to pick up the Super Shield Medallion, which generates a Shield Bubble Jr.whenever you use healing items (excluding splashes and grenades).Exercise caution when utilizing both Medallions, as they will notify surrounding players of your presence. In the endgame, you’ll encounter more experienced opponents, so consider whether the benefits of these powerful abilities outweigh the potential risks of being targeted.
