The Delta Force Open Beta has officially launched on PC, offering players an exciting preview of the upcoming features to be included in the full game release. This marks a significant return for the franchise after a 15-year hiatus.
While the complete version is slated for release across multiple platforms, including mobile devices, in early 2025, the Open Beta is currently accessible to PC gamers eager for an adventure.
In this initial phase, players can explore a limited selection of modes and maps, providing a glimpse of what the final game will include. Below is a detailed overview of the available game modes and maps within the Delta Force Open Beta.
Delta Force Game Modes
At launch, the Delta Force Open Beta features two distinct game modes: Hazard Operations and Havoc Warfare.
Havoc Warfare will resonate with fans of the Battlefield series, as it delivers large-scale matches where two teams of 32 players battle in objectives like King of the Hill and Attack and Defend. Players will navigate sprawling maps and utilize a diverse array of vehicles from land, air, and sea to secure victory.
On the other hand, Hazard Operations, previously titled Tactical Turmoil, resembles popular extraction shooters such as Escape from Tarkov or Call of Duty’s DMZ. In this mode, players collaborate with two teammates to tackle AI or real opponents while attempting to acquire valuable loot and make their escape.
Additionally, a single-player campaign named Black Hawk Down is in development, inspired by the iconic 2001 film of the same name. Although this feature is not included in the Open Beta, developers have announced that it will launch in January 2025.
Map List for Delta Force
The Delta Force Open Beta boasts a total of nine maps, distributed between the two primary game modes. Here’s a rundown of these maps:
Maps in Hazard Operations
- Zero Dam
- Layali Grove
- Space City
