Complete Guide to Earning Flairs in Pokemon TCG Pocket – Essential Tips and Tricks

Experience the thrill of card collecting and opening packs with Pokémon TCG Pocket, a newly launched game that lets players curate their own decks featuring a wide range of Pokémon cards. The appeal of these cards varies, primarily based on how visually striking and rare they are. What’s more, there’s a unique feature that can further enhance your card collection: Flairs.

Flairs serve as cosmetic upgrades that add an animated flair—think sparkles, stars, and flames—that bursts forth from the cards when they are viewed. This adds an exciting visual aspect that can make your cards stand out even more.

1. How to Obtain Flairs in Pokémon TCG Pocket

To create Flairs for your cards, you’ll need to combine Shinedust with duplicates of the card you wish to enhance. The amount of Shinedust and the number of duplicates required can differ based on the specific card.

Flairs are categorized into two types: Cosmetic Flair and Battle Flair. Cosmetic Flair can be crafted using single diamond rarity cards and certain promotional cards. Once applied, it provides a persistent effect on the card.

Conversely, Battle Flair is exclusively applicable to Pokémon decks. Any Pokémon with a single diamond rarity possesses at least one Battle Flair, which is activated when the card enters play. To unlock Flairs for your Pokémon or Support cards, gather multiple copies of the corresponding cards alongside Shinedust. You can accumulate Shinedust by finishing Missions, competing in Battles, and leveling up, in addition to opening standard packs.

2. Applying Flairs to Your Cards

Flairs can be added to any unlocked Cosmetic Flair when you select cards for your Binders or Display Boards from the My Cards menu.

Upon selecting a card, an icon for Flair will appear beside any card eligible for Flair enhancements. Simply tap this icon to apply it, and the Flair will be visible in your Binder or Display Board.

For Battle Flair, you’ll need to set the Flairs during the deck setup phase in the Deck menu. As you choose the 20 cards for your deck, the Flair icon will again indicate available Flairs for unlocked cards.
