Complete Guide to Every Citadelle des Morts Incantation in Black Ops 6 Zombies

In the latest Black Ops 6 Zombies map, **Citadelle des Morts**, players are required to tackle a series of intricate puzzles within the castle and its surrounding town to progress through the main quest.

As with every Zombies map in Black Ops 6, a central quest awaits completion. For those adventuring through Citadelle des Morts, the initial task involves gathering four **ritual items**, four **incantations**, and four **elemental Wonder Weapon swords**.

Acquiring these items is critical for conducting the necessary rituals.

Let’s dive into the details of each ritual item and the role each sword plays within the quest.

Activate the Pack-a-Punch Machine and Speak with Gabriel Krafft

To get started with the incantations, follow these initial steps:

1. Advance through the main quest until you reach the Oubliette Room.
2. Shoot the three locks on the crate.
3. Eliminate the Doppleghast and collect the **Blood Aetherium Crystal** it drops.
4. Interact with the Pack-a-Punch Machine to activate it with the Crystal.
5. Engage with the wooden door in the **Quick Revive Perk-a-Cola** room to speak with Krafft.

Completing the Balmung: Raven’s Shadow Incantation

With the initial steps completed, you’re ready to perform the Balmung incantation. Follow these instructions:

1. Take the slide near the Pack-a-Punch Machine; at the slide’s end, a raven will appear to your right.
2. Shoot the raven while sliding.
3. After exiting the slide, shoot the raven again to obtain the **Raven’s Talon** ritual item.
4. Proceed to the Undercroft, where a glowing yellow circle will appear at the start of a new round.
5. Interact with the circle to initiate the ritual; defeat the surrounding zombies until the ritual concludes, revealing a box.
6. Use the Balmung Wonder Weapon to melee the box, thus acquiring an incantation.

Completing the Durendal: Stag of the Storms Incantation

To successfully execute the Durendal incantation, adhere to the following steps:

1. Look above the door in the stone bar on the hill adjacent to the Town Square for a horseshoe and shoot it down.
2. Return to the cannon situated atop the Citadelle Courtyard.
3. Instead of firing the cannon at the door, aim it towards the Town Square to launch yourself back.
4. Collect **Pegasus’ Horseshoe** from Village Ascent.
5. A glowing yellow circle will manifest in Town Square, allowing you to complete the ritual as done previously.
6. Open the box with the Durendal Wonder Weapon to receive another incantation.

Completing the Solais: Lion of Light Incantation

Follow these steps to undertake the Solais incantation:

1. In the Dining Hall, locate a red crystal situated above the **Vulture-Aid Perk-a-Cola**.
2. Shooting the crystal alters the direction of the light it reflects.
3. Shoot the crystal multiple times until the light strikes another red crystal.
4. Continue redirecting the light until it reaches the alchemy room, unlocked upon taking the first sword.
5. Inside the alchemy room, the light converges on another ritual item, the **Paladin’s Brooch**.
6. A new yellow circle will appear in the Dining Hall for you to complete the ritual.
7. Perform the ritual and dismantle the box with the Solais sword to gather yet another incantation.

Completing the Caliburn: Dragon’s Fire Incantation

Here’s how to perform the Caliburn incantation:

1. Three pyres are positioned above doorways in the area prior to the castle, near the cannon.
2. Ignite these pyres using either the Caliburn: Dragon’s Fire special attack or a Molotov lethal from your loadout.
3. The first pyre is located above the left door when facing the castle.
4. Another pyre is placed to the left of the cannon, facing away from the castle.
5. Finally, a third pyre is visible above the castle entrance when looking directly ahead from the cannon.
6. Activating the pyres will summon a Doppleghast, which will drop the relic item **Ra’s Ankh** upon defeat.
7. A yellow ritual circle will now appear near the entrance of the Citadelle Courtyard.
8. Complete the ritual and use the Caliburn Wonder Weapon to open the chest for the last incantation.

After securing all four incantations, not only can they serve as powerful weapons, but they are also vital for unlocking the final easter egg in the game.
