Dataslates provide an intriguing glimpse into the mechanics of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. These collectibles are perfect for players seeking a more comprehensive understanding of the game. There are over 30 dataslates available in Space Marine 2, predominantly located within the Operations mode. Here’s a navigational guide to help you locate them efficiently.

1. Operation: Inferno Dataslates

Operation Inferno houses two dataslates.

The first is found at the mission’s start. After defeating the Tyranids in the swamp area, locate an Imperial Guard bunker adjacent to a significant pile of refuse. When you see a fire, pivot around to find another bunker. This first dataslate is located inside the bunker on some crates.

Upon reaching the refinery, enter a large hall with an elevator at the end. To the left of the elevator, a staircase leads up. Ascend this path and keep to your left. The second dataslate is found on a table.

2. Operation: Decapitation Dataslates

At the beginning of this operation, ascend to the top of the chapel. You’ll encounter enemies, so remain cautious. Avoid the rooftop and instead head to the balcony that overlooks the chapel’s entrance through the large archway. The dataslate is positioned near the double doors.

The second dataslate can be found within the ventilation shaft after your team dismantles the bridge. Upon sighting the Hive Tyrant, backtrack and venture straight ahead. Search for a small cupboard tucked into a corner; the dataslate will be inside.

3 . Operation: Vox Liberatis Dataslates

Use the first elevator to reach the upper level of the city. Once you exit, move ahead and turn right, proceeding down the ramp. Make a left to access a set of stairs. Ascend the stairs, and the dataslate will be to your left on a stack of crates.

Your squad will take an elevator going down. When it halts, locate a flight of stairs next to the last door. There’s no need to progress further. The dataslate will be resting on a box beside the stairs.

4. Operation: Reliquary Dataslates

The initial dataslate is found in the catacombs. Inside the main hall featuring the catacombs, search for a staircase on the left. Go up this staircase, and you will find the dataslate tucked away in the far-left corner.

The second dataslate is located inside the gatehouse on the bridge, where you’ll come across Heldrakes. After entering the gatehouse, turn right, then right again. Look for a crate; the dataslate will be situated atop it.

5. Operation: Fall of Atreus Dataslates

Descend into the underground chamber located beneath the chapel. Move to the rear of the chamber and locate a statue. The dataslate can be found on the floor next to it.

For the second dataslate, enter the industrial area where you’ll confront a Dreadnought. Continue through the main mission as usual. Right before your next battle, ascend the ramp and turn left. The dataslate will be in the corner atop some boxes.

6. Operation: Ballistic Engine Dataslates

Immediately after transitioning through the sandstorm region, you will enter a space with a corridor on the right. Proceed along the corridor until you find an open room. The dataslate will be situated on a table.

Next, head to the transit station. As you descend onto the main rail platform, turn left and advance along the left wall. You’ll soon spot an armored vehicle next to a biomass pile. The second dataslate will be on a pair of crates nearby.
