Initially, you’ll need to defeat one of Frieza’s minions. Once Frieza, resurrected by the Dragon Balls, arrives, you must significantly deplete his health swiftly. If you fail, you’ll revert to the main storyline; however, if you succeed, you will activate Gohan’s unique Sparking pathway.

Goku’s Son
Gohan faces Frieza once again, but this time, Frieza opts to undergo a transformation upon realizing Gohan’s true power.
Defeating Frieza in this episode allows you to proceed further in the Sparking pathway.

Equipped with the skills to conquer an immortal being, Gohan returns to confront Gohan Black. In this episode, the objective is to whittle down Gohan Black’s health to progress.
A cutscene will reveal Gohan Black’s true identity as Zamasu from another timeline. The two then merge to augment their power, leading to another fierce confrontation with Gohan.

Now facing Zamasu, who has fused with the non-immortal Gohan Black, Gohan’s task is to deplete Zamasu’s health.
