However, Halloween presents a darker ambiance. Players can anticipate phantom vehicles prowling the streets, alongside unnerving encounters with UFOs, truly capturing the spooky spirit.

This year, to enhance the Halloween festivities, Rockstar has reinstated the Ghost Hunting event, allowing players to earn $250,000 and a Ghostbusters-themed livery for the Albany Brigham by hunting down ghosts.

GTA Online Ghosts Exposed Collectible: Locations of All Ghosts

The Ghost Hunting challenge mirrors previous events from Rockstar, and it comes with a strict time constraint.

To succeed, players must photograph a total of nine distinct ghosts scattered throughout the southern region of Los Santos. Keep in mind that each ghost will only linger for one hour of in-game time, giving you just two minutes to locate each one. Completing the task in one attempt is achievable, but as noted by GTA Series, having the Oppressor handy is almost essential.

Once you’ve captured images of all nine ghosts, a unique tenth ghost representing Dom Beasley will materialize.

Each ghost offers two possible spawn points within the main area, generally close together, so there’s no need to stress about racing against time.

Thanks to GTA Series, we’ve compiled a list of each ghost and its alternate spawn points:

Ghost 1 – Found outside the church or on the water island at West Eclipse Boulevard.
Ghost 2 – Located in the homeless camp beneath the Olympic Freeway.
Ghost 3 – Appearing either outside a house or atop the water tower on Fudge Lane.
Ghost 4 – Positioned on the bridge of La Puerta Freeway over Exceptionalists Way.
Ghost 5 – Seen in the watchtower of the house on Ace Jones Drive.
Ghost 6 – Floating above the transporter bridge or by the warehouse entrance.
Ghost 7 – Near either side of the church towers on Boulevard Del Perro.
Ghost 8 – On top of the building on Ginger Street.
Ghost 9 – Present on the top or second level of the motel balconies.
Ghost 10 – At the base of the dam near the Diamond Casino.

Rewards for Ghosts Exposed in GTA Online

To capture each ghost, simply take a photograph, and they will vanish, prompting a Ghosts Exposed notification on your screen.

For every ghost you capture, you’ll earn $20,000, and upon collecting all ten, you’ll receive an extra $50,000, totaling $250,000. Additionally, players will unlock the Ghostbusters-inspired livery for the Albany Brigham, complete with a themed horn and the new Ghosts Exposed hunter outfit.
